This is a no-frill dining in Mataram. It is a perfect spot to savour some really good seafood and enjoy the sunset. The portion is slightly small but the taste is supreme. Price wise....it is absolutely reasonable. Try it and you will love it.....chopped, guaranteed and sealed.

As a spicy food lover, what most people thought was spicy never spicy enough for me. Me and my malaysian friends went to warung taliwang baru on jl. Teuku umar, Denpasar yesterday and we had plecing kangkung, gurami bakar, ayam bakar taliwang, and ayam panggang sambal berok.. They were amazingly delicious and spicy. We're so happy to have finally found what we wanted. Spicy food. I think this is an origin lombok food. Loved it. Its perfectly suit my tounge. Recommende to those who love spicy food.

Nice place that can best be described as "fancy local". There chicken taliwang is very nice but be aware, if they say spicy here they mean spicy! So there is the risk of fire going in and fire going out later!
But I like spicy so it is not a complaint. Staff is very professional and good

Establlished in 1976. We provide the best food and beverages in the city. Breakfast and Lunch in Ramayana is a must when you are visiting Lombok island. Find our location in Google Map.
My friend recomended this place for it is some kind of legendary street culinary in Mataram, since years with the same menus and taste. The place was small, with limited parking, and rustic building.
But the food were great! We ordered Es Campur, Es Teler Duren, Sop Buntut and gado-gado and cost us around usd 10 half of it from Sop Buntut.
The staffs were nice and helpful.

Surprised to find a place that made a delicious cap. A nice quiet place to get an arvo coffee fix and escape the business off the city

Just landed in Lombok airport at 10 pm, going around looking for restaurant that still open at that time and found this restaurant still open, it is open till 12 midnight. With their special menu : Roast Chicken Taliwang....with level of spicy : low - middle - hot- but even the low one is already very hot for me.....1 portion is for 2 person. It also has special Soup - Lebui: soup with black soya: yummy....and also try the special vegetable from West Nusa Tenggara: plecing kangkung.....the resto : it has 2 kind of the way of sitting table....the regular one and sit on the floor style. It serve alot of crispy snack in their table, but before you open it - try to pinch it from outside of its plastic- because most of them already soggy and not crunchy anymore.....but averall this place recommended....

Most of the great restaurants and cafes in Lombok island are located in Senggigi Beach, Kuta beach or the Gili Islands. So finding this nice cafe in the provincial capital, Mataram, is a pleasant surprise.
I came here in late morning to get some coffee and to catch up on work. The cafe is located in Mataram Mall in the city center, so it's very easy to find. The first impression was it was a bit dark, with fake trees, garden chairs and tables around, But as I sat down, looking at the mix menu of chinese, indonesian, american, italian food, serenaded by Greek music, I become climatized with the mash up.
The Lombok coffee was very nice and served very nicely. The bbq-flavured fries were also nice. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and corteous. The place is clean the batchroom is clean. The dark, garden setting growed on me.
The price of food was inexpensive, the free wifi internet speed was excellent. I definitely recommend this place..

We went for dinner as it was close to our hotel. The venue is nicely decorated with comfy chairs, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food was ok, the crevapi meal deal is good value, 50,000 for a bun with kofta type meat, a few chips (French fries) and a bottle of water. I wasn't keen on this as the bun tasted very sweet.
We also had a pizza which was ok but the base wasn't brilliant, it tasted like a pre-made mass produced base and not a freshly made one. We also had churos which were ok but a little bit hard.
This place is probably better or lunch or snacks than dinner. The have a good range of coffee.
