Why have we built High Point on Koh Rong? Because it's Koh Rong, and when you see this Island you will understand, especially when you see it from the High Point rope park trees. The Island is nearly 70 sq. kilometers in size, that's almost the size of Hong Kong! However, unlike the great H.K, Koh Rong has no skyscrapers, no cars, no concrete streets, it's just beach, and jungle, lots and lots of jungle. In fact almost all 70 sq kilometers of this incredible island is covered in jungle, or damp rain forest. There are 28 Beaches on the island almost all of them snow white sands and one that is close to 7 kilometers long with just a tiny few huts along it and a beautiful small local village at one end. A must see when you come to the island. There is one village of the few fishing communities on the island that has become quite popular with travelers and tourists over the last few years, sitting on a beach just under 900 meters long a small group of travelers and locals have set up some guest houses, bars, beach hut bungalows, restaurants, and even a dive center, allowing more people to enjoy what this beautiful Island has to offer but without taking away any of its charm. 3 to 4 boats make 4 to 5 round trips from the island to the main land each day. The journey is around 28 kilometers long so can take around 2.5 hours on the slow boats or as little as 40 minutes on the speed boats . Then in March 2014 in the tallest trees of Koh Rong Island, we opened up Cambodia's first world class rope park, High Point. When building the park 21 trees were carefully selected, then 25 platforms were built on those trees at heights ranging from four to twenty five meters!! Then the platforms were connected, a web of ladders and cables making a route over 400 meters long without one foot ever touching the floor. Passing all twenty stages of the course for the first time takes on average just over an hour. The later attempts tend to get quicker and quicker, (how fast do you think you could complete the course??). There are various stages to the course, suspension Bridges, walking wires, self-moving devices such as the flying barrel or flying surf, and of course we have zip lines. For getting though the course no preliminary preparation is required other than listening to the safety brief, any person can overcome all obstacles. Age and weight are also not an issue, if you are fit enough to walk to the office, you can fit in the safety harness and can attach a safety line at the average persons shoulder height, then we will get you through the course. Visit High Point - this remarkable and safe adventure, will allow you to let out your inner monkey and swing from the trees as our long distant relatives did and our more recent cute monkey cousin still do. You will experience the best views of this entire island and be among some of the most beautiful nature and wild life Koh Rong has to offer. It is a day you will not soon forget. See you in the trees.

Adventure Adam Activities & Tours offers special guided Boattrips, Kayaking, Trekking, Camping and other outdoor activities on Koh Rong island, Cambodia. Be part of an unique experience, make unforgettable memories and meet people from all around the world.
This is hands down the best day of my whole trip to Thailand/Cambodia. $25 seems expensive by Cambodian standards but it was worth every single penny. You are out from 9-7 on a wooden long tail boat. You do swimming, snorkelling, fishing, beach bbq, beach games, Bioluminescent plankton, a visit to a local Cambodian village and the sunset on the beach. This trip takes you to places you could never walk to as the island is made up of harsh jungle. Our Guide was martial and he was so knowledgable and passionate about the island. Seriously can’t recommend this tour enough and encourage anyone visiting Koh Rong to do it.

I came to Koh Rong in early March. I stayed at Sok San beach, which was generally clean but sometimes suffered from rubbish in the water (unfortunately this is a common problem in this part of the world). But the water was clear and if the rubbish tide wasn’t in you’ll have a great time.
The weather was fine and warm, with the occasional brief storm. I had read there was a problem with mosquitoes and sand flies but I had no problems.

Koh Rong Dive Center, opened at the beginning of 2012, offering a range of Padi courses, from Open Water Diver to Dive Master. Our center is Khmer run we employ local staff and qualified professional Padi Instructors/Dive Masters from around the world. The main purpose of the dive center is to offer great customer service to all divers certified or not. We also have a major interest of the development of the island, running as an Eco-Friendly Center and also supporting the local islanders. The center employs local village staff giving them the opportunity to train in diving at no cost to them.
Delighted we joined them. Our 10-year old did the Discover Scuba Diving over two days, and is now focused on getting his Open Water Certification. His instructor, Gregg, was very patient and very focused on safety and his learning the skills properly. Mom and Dad had a great time snorkeling as well.

The beach is nice but there is hardly any place to lay down in the shadow anymore, unless you stay in the luxurious resort. If you wanna get shadow in the natural beach you have to walk 3-4km. Also a lot of construction going on so half the looks like a building site

Hello everyone, my name is Olga and I live on Koh Rong, a tropical island in the middle of nowhere and I do enjoy it every single moment of my life here. I keep and grow many of the native (and some non-native) plants and animals of interest to me, but the best thing is the knowledge I get to learn, explore and share every day.
Although this is not what you would really call a traditional zoo, Olga, the owner is building a small collection of local animals and plants with the hope that she can share her interest and knowledge with people who visit. I had many questions to ask and most were met with in depth answers - you learn something new every day - especially here!
Personally i love snakes and there are some impressive ones here and also for those who are interested - you can handle the some of the more tame ones. There are bats, civets, lizards, birds and more.
The blue tea made from local jungle flowers was really nice and when we walked around the jungle garden i could not believe how many of the local plants had such amazing uses. Thanks for sharing this with me and for teaching me many new things.

The location is only 500 meters from the arrival of the all the Ferries. Party are on Wednesday and Saturday from 10pm until after sunrise.Resident and Guest DJ from all over the world.Techno, house, minimal mostly played.
It was good, and the place it was at was cool, in a little secluded area of the beach. The music was cool, but they only have 1 type of beer there which wasn't a great beer and also wasn't very busy. We were told we haddddd to buy our tickets as there were only 500 available and they would sell out (I know that's their job to sell but really wasn't busy) and it's $7.50 for a ticket. Not bad but not the best

The Beach is very nice. Easily accessible from main Pier. There are a few restaurants with different range of prices. Good place to stay longer for party people as there are parties here almost every night. If You are a couple that wants to relax better stay at more quiet places as it is hard to sleep at night.
Not much famous for its Beaches, Cambodia has this hidden jewel in Koh Rong Island. The long stretch of beach (justifying its name) is mostly deserted and is perfect for the wandering soul. It has resorts and restaurants at one end and almost nothing at the other end. It is great for long walks. The water is clean, green and swallow and one can enjoy safe swimming here.
