Morro da Borussia

Reviewed By Fabidias - Porto Alegre

For a long time people kept me inviting to visit Morro da Borussia, the idea of climbing a 1200ft hill did not use to make excited about it. But today, march first, I took my wife, our baby and decided to know the place.
Firts, the road to get the top of the hill is gorgeous, it feels a litlle like Europe. It's sinalized, but take care and drive safe, too many laps and a narrow road.
After driving the 1200ft up you will find the spot to sightseen, but take care, there's a "Mirante" first, but the real good spot is the gliding runway, about 2Km uproad!
The view from the place is breathtaking! It worth each cent you spent in gas. From there you may see about 20 Km in a 180 degrees view, it's just like to be in heaven!
Going down you have to make a pitstop in Dodo Restaurante, it's mandatory!!

It is a near to Porto Alegre traditional beach site, where family have summer houses and get together on the hot summer months if the southern from December to March. There are many nice houses and the long, gray sand and cold water beach is a nice place to refresh with the breeze and to walk, or just relax having a nice coconut water on one of the many on the beach small kiosks and bars. It us very friendly fir small children and families. A big attraction is the sea platform, from where you can fish or just look at the beach.

Santa Terezinha Beach

Reviewed By Norton G - Santa Maria, RS
