Hisarönü is a tourist resort village in the Fethiye district of the Muğla Province of Turkey. It is situated at the western extreme of the Mediterranean coast of Turkey and the southern extreme of the Aegean coast. The resort has grown from a very basic village in 1990 to the large resort with its neighbor Ovacık since then. In 1992, the road through Hisaronu to Kayaköy was paved for the first time.

Kaptan June’s Hut was returned to the beach in 2010. Since then it has been used as a visitor center where people can learn about the turtles that come to the beach every year to lay their eggs. The center is very informative on the history of June's time living in the hut many years ago and her fight to protect turtles and the beautiful Iztuzu Beach. Discover how you can help now by visiting us !
Please take the time to visit this sanctuary - all support for this worthy cause is much needed. You will be horrified at what we do to the creatures of this planet. Furthermore and most importantly - please support Captain June approved boats.

Cafe/Beach and Jazz Music bar. Live music performance everynight between 22.00-01.00...
We came for lunch returned for the evening jazz under a full moon. The trio was fabulous! The piano player in particular. The owners have created a wonderful venue by day and night. It was the highlight to visiting this quaint village.

Yeşil Vadi..Doğanın binbir rengiyle süslenmiş bir mekânda yer alan Yeşil Vadi Restaurant, Yuvarlakçay’ın en nadide bölümünde 1991 yılından beri hizmet vermektedir.Tüm yıl boyunca açık olan tesisimiz, Muğla bölgesinin enyüksek dağı olan Sandras Dağı’nın eteklerinde saklı duran iki cennetin güzelliklerini ziyaretçilerimizle de paylaşabilmekten sevinç duyar; 400 metre uzunluğu 300 metre derinliği bulunan Topgözü Kanyonu ile yazın narenciye deposu ovayı sulayan Yuvarlakçay…
We have visited Yuvarlak Cay several times. It is such an enjoyable place to sit and relax. The word "çay" usually means "tea", plenty of which you can buy here, but in this instance it has another meaning of "stream" or "river" as here. This fast flowing narrow stretch of water is often blocked off with planks, thus raising the level of the water allowing people to swim in the freezing but stimulating and refreshing water. The service is lovely and there is someone there who speaks English for visitors. It is a bit out of the place, but well worth the visit.

first of all total mark is not my exact choice grades jump from average to very good in my opinion there should be good between average and verygood.plue parrot bungalows are clean, big enough, has balcony with nice view.owner is nice lady take care everything, blue parrot cafe and restaurant is on the shore ,but bungalows are not behind it.there is acouple of hundred meteres.uphill.we did not know before maybe our fault.at akbük front of the cafes there is a dusty road itis just behind the sunbeds.when cars passes dust come over .and because that end of the day sunbeds and small tables next to sunbeds gets really dusty and dirty .when you use them municapality charge you.but municipality people do not clean them neither hotel owners.but as a result hotel customers use them. ı must say that sea is the one of the best ı have been in.really great.one additional point is there is not shower in the blue parrot cafe ,and bungalows are not in a distence that you can go and take a shower each time you get out water.as a result akbük was perfect but we made it not as good as before.

Iztuzu Beach is a fabulous place to go for those who enjoy the sea. There are no buildings save bar/restaurant on the beach. Beautiful sand stretching for miles. This where Greenback and Loggerhead turtles come ashore to lay their eggs in the season. There is also a turtle sanctuary at the eastern end of the beach. Great place for a relaxing day. Travel there by river taxi or dolmus
