If you arrive in Bozburun by boat (or any other way) go straight to Osman's - fantastic showers, wifi, book exchange, terrific food and such friendly fun people who run it. They organised all our airport transfers at a much better rate than we had been offered elsewhere and a rental car for a day's sightseeing. Helpful and make everyone feel like family. Don't miss it!

There are only two Pide restaurants in Selimiye (that we could find) so we took a chance on the Falcon, mainly because we feel it is usually a good sign when the majority of tables are full, and especially so when taken up by locals and Turkish visitors. The menu is totally in Turkish so a very helpful waiter who spoke a little English came across to assist us with our choices, and we managed to select two Pide that were a delight to the tastebuds; one a mixture of egg, salami, minced meat, and the other being mainly diced meat! You can watch as the Pide bases are being made and formed into shape too. Two Effes beers completed a simple but lovely meal. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and don't be put off just because the menu isn't in English"

We ate here twice during our week in Selimiye (May 2013) and the food was perfect. The only down side is that they don't have wine/beer. We had Lentil Soup and meatball stew made with tiny meatballs. Plenty of locals eat here too. Good value and really wholesome food. I heartily recommend.

The food is mediocre, nothing special. We have had Klasik Manti, Cig Borek ve Cikolatali Manti as dessert. The portions were so small, luckily we were not that hungry. They were like appetizers to taste for us. Be aware if you're really hungry, do not go to this place, because you will walk out hungry & by paying hefty amount of check!...
In fact, everything is way expensive in Selimiye (Quiet yachters' village), like souvenir shops & also there are very limited good places to eat unless you really like expensive seafood.

Beautiful setting on the shore, several friends had recommended this restaurant and glad I listened, top selection of traditional Mezes and we plumped for the Grilled Red Sapper and stuffed cheese calamari for the mains.
It's a great setting whether sitting in the restaurant or on the deck.

Desserts are must. Original recipes made out of guinness beer or poppy seeds. Breakfast is average but price is high compared to nearbys. Fresh lemonades are quiet good one of them sweety and serving w/ huge corton candy other one w/ lavender and sugarfree give it a try. On Upstairs there is a Terrace good for groups or for the ppl want to watch and check ppl whos walking&eating.

Totally great place for dinner. All their dishes are great. Especially, highly recommended for octopus. Also the price is affordable for dinner. Service is really great. Thanks a lot to the Hidayet teams!!!

Quaint little place in the main street in town with Nespresso Coffee and freshly made cakes and pastries. It's clean with good service -- nice just hanging out and looking at the boats coming and going in the marina and the sea. Plus -- nicely decorated and clean bathrooms too!!

My first warning ( and this seems to apply to many Turkish eating places) is order your starters and eat then before you order your main. At Beyaz Ev our main courses came just after they had served our meze. Apart from this the food here was good, with a wide range of meze dishes. The mains on the day we visited appeared to be mainly meatballs. The venue is very pretty with only about 10 tables in a quiet side street off the harbour front. The service was good, but for some people a disadvantage might be that they do not serve alcohol. The cost was about right at approx. £20 per couple for meze and main course with soft drinks.

I have to agree with others here.We too had disastrous meal at aurora, but enjoyed two fantastic meals at Uzum.It has all been said about the gracious host and wonderful food..The owner/chef goes out of her way to use local produce and produce fantastic unusual Mezes.Different every night and unlike any other Mezes,a lot of which are just commercial. She even bought crabs from the kids who were catching them on the jetty, and had them one night. We thoroughly enjoyed her pickled baby ochre and pickled almonds...Her menu does not do her place justice until you eat there! Do try the prawns on skewers, our favourite.Steaks cooked exactly as we asked..I wish we had a restaurant like this on every holiday.
She even gave us 3 jars of special pickles as a gift.....!
