Hillary’s is beautiful, loved walking round the harbour and little beach, we saw Osprey on the beach too! Hillary’s has little shops and cafes and restaurants, we ate at one and enjoyed our time here

This beach is a must for anyone visiting Perth, the sand is soft and clean and the sea is safe for small children. Plenty of parking and good clean changing facilities. If you don't fancy the beach for sunbathing there is a large grass area next to the playground and carpark.

I recently visited this place with friends. It is located a little far away from the city. The pristine beauty of the beach will make to go mad.The crystal clear water along the pathway to the view such amazing..We have nearby an vanilla slicing cake shop which is very good and a must try.

My impression of Mettam's Pool from Reading reviews was completely different to what I experienced - there are signposts that the pool has submerged rocks and strong currents, and is a very small beach. Narrow and not deep in relation to sand on the beach.
And watch out for blue bottles on the beach.
Its not one of the biggest in Perth, but it's a nice beach. Not as nice as Scarborough.

Looked up the internet for the movie that was showing, made the decision to go for it. Never had the experience of being in a drive-in theatre before, always thought it was something that only happened in the movies.
We packed some snacks and drinks, tuned our radio to the right channel and all was well. The area was clean, markings were visible and easy to navigate. Screen was just right. Would definitely go back!

On first glance the resort is a tranquil oasis. It's only after a few days that practicalities and flaws emerge. Firstly the good...... the setting..... It really has a beautiful garden and golf course. We were in the area visiting family and did not get the chance to play the course so can't really comment on that apart from it looks lovely. The pool area also looks great.
The room was a generous size which was appreciated. The room had been reasonably recently renovated and looked neat, clean and modern. The bathroom had also had a revamp but the lack of storage or even surface areas to store toiletries irked me pretty early on. The other issue I found to be disappointing was the state of the walkways. We stayed quite a way from reception and the further away you got the more filthy the pathway became. This is a really pleasant place that lacked the attention to detail that really good hotels have.....
The other issue I did not appreciate was the second rate breakfast. I would stay here again though. (I just won't have the breakfast)

This location is a pinch yourself moment. How can we be so lucky to have this on our doorstep ? Well it is not ever taken for granted. All our visitors from overseas visit here on numerous occasions. It is a place that you never tire of. A place that consistently takes your breathe away. Nature at its best. If you are lucky you may even spot a passing dolphin... The sunsets are heavenly. Don't forget your camera, phone to take an everlasting snap of one of the most stunning Beaches in W.A. The rugged rock formations along the beach, the clear blue ocean, who couldn't fail to fall in love with this place 'we' call home ! A must see ! A must do ! According to others here is a hidden gem for snorkelling if the tide is right (shhhhhh)

This beautifully curated museum is housed in an old, converted water tank on top of Mount Flora. The tank was built in the 1940s to supply water for domestic use in the surrounding area. The views from the top level over surrounding suburbs, bush-land and the Indian Ocean are breathtaking.
Built over two levels, the museum records the history of the northern suburbs of Perth from early settlement. The pictures of road-making in areas now closely developed were fascinating, and so were the photos of fishermen's shacks along a strip of one of my favourite Beaches.
A collection of 'rooms' on the mezzanine floor have been lovingly recreated, using items commonly in use in Australian homes. I could have lingered much longer among treasures remembered from my childhood in the 1940s. .
There is a children's playground outside, and a grassy picnic area with a shelter. Check the website for opening details. This museum is the official museum for the City of Stirling. It is a credit to the City. Highly recommended for tourists who want to find out more about early Western Australian history or for a trip down memory lane during school holidays. It would also make a good excursion (by arrangement) for school classes.
