Clarke's of North Beach has been providing a fine dining experience for our discerning clientele for 14 years. Since 2003 multi-award-winning, 6 time Chef of the Year Stephen Clarke, leading a small team of up and coming apprentices and chefs, has sourced the freshest seasonal produce and created dishes of exquisite detail and flavour. With an artists eye and natural flair for colour, impeccable French technique and a focus on presentation, it all announces, unmistakably, that Stephen Clarke is the reason our customers keep returning in droves. Front of House manager Phillip Wynn maintains an attentive watch over the dining room with his team of waiters as well as offering a range of local and international wines as well as wine pairing with the food. Excellent location so parking isplentiful. Our group all enjoyed a special 3-course menu. It was all totally yummy, and very good value. I usually don't eat pork belly because of tne fat, but Clarke's version was excellent, crisp and juicy. The main menu was small and fairly pricey.
The main reason for dropping a star was the initial service. Our table of five was left alone for 20 minutes without even water being brought to the table. Tables for two around us were being served and repeatedly visited by the two wait staff. Eventually we stopped one of them while passing by and asked for water. Finally being noticed, our waiter was then good. He did not completely know the menu items, saying this 3-course was very new. He was attentive and charming otherwise.

Situated overlooking the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean, White Salt has been pleasing its diners since opening in 2005 and is now established as one of the premier dining venues along the beautiful coast.Be it coffee, cake, lunch, dinner ,breakfast or just a drink we welcome everyone to our cafe and bar. Why not pop in for a drink whilst watching the sunset over the ocean. We also cater for functions and are the ideal wedding venue, intimate and on the beach
I booked White Salt for our work Christmas lunch, beautiful location with a view of the Indian Ocean.
We opted for their Christmas lunch menu 1, which was very reasonably priced at $38pp and extra $5 for a glass of bubbly, the table came with bon bons and Christmas decorations but unlike the photo on their website there was no table cloth which didn’t give it the wow factor.
The restaurant was full, the ambience was nice and the service was good.
One of the girls had the barramundi which she enjoyed but unfortunately the oven roasted chicken breast lacked taste and the vegetables were nearly raw.
Dessert on the other hand, lemon & lime brulee tart was a lovely surprise!
Overall the restaurant is worth a visit

Late minute booking, a late cancellation and we were in for a quick meal. Great house red with medium rare steak cooked to perfection. Lovely first time waitress from Norway (Thank heavens for backpackers!) who made certain we were looked after. Supportive staff assisted with payment which was great to see.

Serving authentic and classic Italian food, featuring pizza and pasta to suit all tastes.Vibrant, family atmosphere as well as romantic over looking the harbor and boats with amazing sunsets to compliment the experience. Situated on the north side of Hillarys marina, located on the waterline near the public boat launch ramp.
Visited with the family. End of an exhausting trip..... kids are hard yakka!
Ordered the pizza with bruschetta, prosciutto and Bianca. Was a sheer delight!
Mains were a chicken parmy, the scallop entree, a bruschetta and the triangle beef cheek pasta.
The scallops were very good. Recommended!
Bruschetta was the best in a long time.
Parmy had caramalised onion that made it sickly sweet... :(
The beef cheek triangolo was lost in the sauce. Couldn’t taste the braised goodness inside for the sweet napolitan sauce. Needs change!
Beer was cold!

First visited this ice-cream shop 9 years ago on our very first visit to Perth. On our 3rd visit to Perth now, and around our 10th visit for ice-cream here. We managed 3 trips this time around - definately worth the visit. Lots of flavours to choose from and all as equally nice as the next. Bonus of being able to sample the ice-cream before ordering (with a picky 8 year old this is a hit!!!). Definitely recommend. Only downside is it is cash only (I'm like the queen and don't tend to carry cash around) however, exception made for this place :)

As everyone knows, good restaurants in the northern suburbs are a rare find.
4 of us went here for a Sat night dinner.
The staff were absolutely wonderful and the food was exceptional. Every course left us all very happy.
I guess they're making the most of the lack of fine dining in the area, and are therefore charging whatever they like. Prices were at the top end for sure.
I didn't give a 5 simply because of 2 small things. The waitress asked if we'd like Tap Water or sparkling? It's a bit of a sell job I know, but maybe "filtered water" or something would be a better offer. Secondly, we had to catch their eye a few times to order more drinks, which isn't good enough for the prices they charge.
Otherwise, all good!
Sorry the photos are average but it's low level lighting

zenos has a good location where one side overlooks the marina.
the menu emphasises more on fish related meals , although there is something for everybody, my partner had the chicken parmy and i had the chillie prawns , both meals were delicious , generous portions and our waitress enquired how hot i would like the chillie ,which is ideal because some like it hotter than others.
all the staff were friendly and worked well under pressure , because the restaurant was busy and we did not have to wait long for our food -- an enjoyable evening

We are regulars here but the last 3 times have been disappointing and now you have lost us and our extended family.
Each time one of our family members has ordered the chicken fettuccine without bacon, each time that has been relayed to the counter staff who said "no worries" each and every time what rolls out, you guessed it, the dish with bacon.
This happend for the 3rd time on Friday evening on 16 Feb 2018 at around 7.30pm, I even placed the order with the main lady, not one of the young wait staff. When the meal come out (10 minute after the pizzas arrived for the rest) the girl apologised straight away as they obviously knew the order was wrong, to her credit she said you can eat this and we will make another but that was another 20 minutes to wait, with 3 kids already half way through their pizzas I was not going to wait another 20 minutes and chose for the 3rd time to eat what I had no ordered.
Not a hint of a refund or free drink or dessert pizza, not an ounce of empathy or understanding from management, left to the poor young wait girl to sort out and she was put in a horrible spot.
The order should not have come out, the manager should have come over, accepted fault and asked what the customer wanted? bring the meal offer was slack and a way for staff to take the gamble that the customer would not wait another 20 minutes and would eat the meal presented even though they knew it was not what was ordered.
We will now travel to Theos in Leederville, 15 minutes extra travel but better pasta and never once have they mucked out orders up.
I am near a 500 site reviewer and one things that ticks me off is lack of active listening skills or not really caring about what the customer wants, so I am afraid 3 times is too many chances for this franchise and your sloppiness will now be documented.

Visited this little gem again two weeks ago and still an absolute pleasure.
This time with some Queensland visitors in tow, my wife and I were delighted to introduce our friends to a taste of Nepal.
Chicken Lollipops, Lamb Momo and Grilled Lamb Kofta thingos were salivated over as we worked our way through these superb starters, which were an ideal way to introduce our friends to these subtle tasty delights.
A selection of curries, Butter chicken, Beef madras and Saag Lamb accompanied by Basmati rice were more than enough to satisfy even the most hungry of us and the leftovers provided a tasty lunch the next day. A serve of Garlic Naan topped off the main courses and the accolades from our I/s visitors were of the highest order.
They were newcomers to Nepalese cuisene and remarked how the subtle use of spices did indeed make an exceptionally pleasant change from the neighbouring Indian variety of food.
As usual the place was very well patronized and service was again excellent. Prices compare very favourably with restaurants of similar ilk, but it is recommended to book especially late in the week and on weekends.
