We love going to the wildpark on weekend and just walking around. There is 50 ha of space so the animals have quite a lot of room. We love watching the bears I swear they were circus bears in a previous life.
Fantastic value for your money we even bought the year pass.

What can I say? Well I never experienced a walk like it definitely not got one of these in the U.K. I went with a ladies club ranging over 50+ Let me tell you about it... when you arrive you check in at the coffee shop & the receptionist will explain the map to you. Make sure you use the toilet here as it is the only one & it will be approx 2hrs before you are back. You remove your shoes & leave then on a rack by the foot cleaning are, there are lockers if you want to leave valuables behind, pay the lady 5e at the counter for a key which I assume you get back later. The trail consists of various obstacles i.e pebbles, stones, wood chip, mud puddles, clay puddles, logs, water barrels and a small lake in the centre which if you are brave enough can make your way across the tricky bit comes about 3/4 of the way where you have to give it some thought as to how you are going to get to the other side safely, if you fall in it is approx 1m so you are going to be very wet! ( Don't forget to leave your mobile/bag with someone else). Along the way there are also interesting things to see & do such as tree carvings, insect houses, tree quotes, spiral walk, tying a knot using your feet etc. When you reach the end you are supplied with a washing up brush to scrub your feet, you can also use the hot tub barrels & soak them for 30 mins these have added herbs, I think there was a small payment for this. My feet needed a good soaking as the black mud had stained my heel skin so I would of liked to of used the hot tubs but others in the group didn't have time, pity. Take your own towel to dry them & then you can head over to a cafe/bar/restaurant behind the venue it takes about 10 mins to walk there & they serve a very nice coffee. This is a great place for all ages & even though I have a poorly knee I managed all the activities (except for the lake) although carefully. Well worth a visit.

Great for a stroll. Beautiful flowers, lots of green, shade, sun, a pond with fishes and animals... Also has an interesting small private anthropological museum.
It's very clean there.
It can be steep in some places so beware if travelling with a buggy or wheelchair.
We went on a quiet day so it was quite peaceful.

Great value pool with a great outdoor space. Used the pool as the holiday park we were staying on was awful and the kids loved the slides, kids pool and the outdoor (as it was heated). Went 3 days in a row and was worth every penny to keep the kids occupied especially when it was overcast they could be indoors or outdoors.

Pee wee is a great play space. The kids love it and we have an annual card which is great value. I think they have stopped this though. At €8.50 and €5 for an adult it is quite pricy. I think charging for adults is nuts, the others around don't charge for adults. The toilets need to be kept clean. They are clean when you go in the morning but it seems that no one cleans they during the day. You can bring your own food and snacks but must buy drinks so that does make it more affordable. I would recommend a visit.

this is our place to go. We have only dined outside. Since it's in a courtyard, it's never windy. Drinks are very generous. Love their Mojitos! Everything we've ordered has been good, Flammkuchen, Wraps, even their Currywurst. All the portions are big. Since you can eat outside, it's wheelchair accessible. If you come with small children, there's enough area for them to run around. Service has always been good. You can meet everyone here, singles, couples, young families, and semi-seniors.

Reviewed By GeniesserRheinland - Erkelenz
