We came here a few times last year, even though it isn't local to us, and loved everything about it. A work colleague commented he'd recently heard the service had gone downhill, and so we booked in for another visit to see. From our perspective, it was as wonderful as ever. The food is tasty with decent portions, it is warm with pleasant decor, and very clean. The staff are young, and a couple of them seemed very inexperienced, but they were polite, helpful, and friendly. My wife had the Haans Ko Tarkari, I had Garlic Chilli Chicken (I think), and we had our usual garlic naan, mushroom bhaji and onion bhaji, with a couple of pilau rice. Price including a coke for my wife and the tip came in at £35. I'd still recommend OM.

Shafiques is Worthing's longest running, family owned Indian restaurant. The reputation has been built on trust and a real family orientated service. We take great pride in our food and the quality. Without this, we would not be in operation for over 31 years, so come along and visit us to experience what that feels like. We strongly advise that you book, especially Wednesday - Sunday.
An abundance of food was delivered to our table by the charming waiters. Each dish prepared with fresh spices. Lovely crisp popadoms, bountiful sauces (although the lamb meat in my pasanda was dry), good pilau rice, all in all good value for money although it is a shame restaurants charge for chutneys these days. Everyone was very happy with their choices. The manager always comes and brings the bill and makes sure you are happy with everything - a nice touch.

Very difficult trying to plan a surprise dinner party for my wife and over 30 guests, or so I thought! Not so, Richard at the Indigo made it much less stressful for me. Helpful planning advice, timetable guidance, excellent menu choices, including catering for a very special, special diet. Private dining room, beautifully dressed tables, good discreet service and food enjoyed by everyone. A truly memorable evening, thanks to all the Indigo team.

Friendly, lively atmosphere.serving great American & Mexican food, cocktails full bar. Great for any occasion.definately need to book.
We have only recently discovered this little gem in the centre of Worthing and have already eaten there twice! The exterior and interior of the restaurant have a Mexican atmosphere and we loved the colourful decor and music.
The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was really delicious! The portion sizes were very generous and the menu choice was very good with some wonderful home-made puddings!
It is a great venue for a party and for family occasions and I can’t wait to go again even though it is not good for my waistline!

Friendly casual fine dinning food. Locally sourced produce in a lovely Sussex Village. For booking information and table Reservations including opening times go to our website.
We have visited Sylvan Oak five or six times and always had an excellent meal. This was Valentine's Night and it was a pleasant surprise to learn that there was no fixed Valentine's menu or some form of cheesy entertainment - just good food and service in a nice atmosphere, as per usual. The food in particular is excellent and I have no idea why this is not the #1 rated restaurant in Worthing, as it unquestionably is! Highly recommended!

Multi award winning fish and chip & seafood restaurant, also offering a take away service. Full Breakfast menu served between 8:00 & midday 7 days a week, fully licensed and air conditioned, pop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just relax in our restaurant with a superb fresh ground coffee.
We went to Chipwick on a recommendation. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the eating area was nice and modern and very clean. Fantastic value for money, with generous portion sizes. Best fish and chips ever. One of our party chose grilled fish with boiled potatoes and it was perfectly cooked. We'd all had starters so couldn't manage a dessert so that Amaretto bread and butter pudding I had my eye on will have to wait for our next visit! Will definitely go again.

Independent coffee house offering locally sourced products freshly cooked to order. Family run business with space for families, pushchairs and groups. We also have a spacious first floor for those who want to squirrel themselves a way in a quiet corner.
Popped in for Sunday brunch and spoilt for choice.
A pleasant welcome from the staff set the tone for our visit.
Nice to see that the breakfast options are available all day and lots of fillings for jacket potato.
Decided to try the home made lamb and mint burger from the special menu. Served with well cooked chips (not too greasy,) and home made coleslaw.
We also tried the eggs royale, with spinach, avocado and hash browns.
Everything cooked to perfection and despite being told the food would be 20 minutes, it arrived quicker.
Attentive service throughout made this a very enjoyable brunch visit.
Will definitely be back!

The Clockhouse Soirée Bistro offers tapas from around the world, upstairs to the Clockhouse Bar in East Preston, West Sussex, England.
The food and service from Karen were excellent but we were eating our tapas for over 2 hours and the seats were very uncomfortable. They were similar to bar stools and the 4 men all had issues over the evening, it must be a height problem as our wives found the seats okay.

Great authentic Turkish food at very reasonable prices, combined with friendly and efficient service.
Another wonderful evening with friends at Efes. A warm welcome by staff and although the restaurant was extremely busy we were served efficiently without feeling rushed. Delicious starters - recommend Albanian liver. Shish, lamb, falafel with fresh salads and Turkish bread. Good wine choice and nice to finish with mint tea and complimentary Turkish delight. Highly recommended.
