This is an old captains mansion which has fantastic food and beutiful Gardens
We had a wonderful dinner in this beautiful and historical place. It's a pricey meal, but it is top notch. I wouldn't recommend this place for smaller children.

I wish words were sufficient to describe how fabulous this restaurant is! They will have to do, I suppose. My boyfriend and I went there for my birthday this past weekend and every single thing about the restaurant was magnificent! The setting, both inside and...MoreHi Terry, Thank you so much for the review! We are beyond thrilled to hear you had such a lovely time with us. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Stopped by here for an evening drink and some appetizers. This place has a nice outside setting that is quite charming. Staff very friendly, accommodating and willing to take the time to discuss and answer our many questions about the area. As it was wing night I ordered a plate of wings (10) which with a drink came to $9.00. Not bad price. The wings were tasty. It was a nice visit one I will do again when I come back to this area.

The service was absolutely terrific and the food was excellent. There is an interesting shop in front of the restaurant. Great ambience. In-house made salad dressings (lemon poppyseed for me!) were delicious. We went two nights because we enjoyed it immensely.

This place is just so cozy and nice. As soon as you walk in the door you feel so welcome from the staff. Took three special seniors with me yesterday it was lovely.
The food was great I took them for lunch and they all enjoyed it so much. You cannot beat this place for putting a great meal in front of you every time.

We had time to kill so visited here for a quick drink and an appetizer before dinner. The wine list didn't look fantastic so we opted for beer and cider. Bacon-wrapped scallops were good but nothing special. Service was super-friendly.

My husband and I stopped by here for a late lunch while on a drive to the valley. It was our second visit and just like the first time, the food was awesome. I ordered a piece of her homemade pumkin pie for desert and Dee the lady owner/cook/server said, do you mind waiting a few minutes I have to whip some cream for it, OMG real whipped cream for my pie, of course I dont mind. It is a quirky little place, with its own charm, and great food. Yes folks you do wait a while for your food, not a place to stop if your in a hurry, and that message she has on the wall.
The hours she told me are 11 to 5, so dont complain if you go there at 10 and find it not open.
All her sandwiches on on her own homemade bread, delicious!
We bought a loaf of her multigrain to take home!
The stop in The Tin Pan is well worth time!

The modest exterior of this restaurant in New Minas contains a scrumptious secret within. I knew from friends to ask for the cellar portion of the restaurant for our lunch for an added treat. The setting was inspired, and reminiscent of my trips to Italy....MoreThank you for taking the time to write a review Shirley. We appreciate hearing from our guests. Sometimes I just want something light and/or healthy for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised today when I saw the special menu at Paddy's. I had a beet burger and spinach salad. Both were delicious. It serves crepes and pizzas. It just opened about 2 weeks ago so is very new. The food was delcious!
We often take a little Day trip from Halifax to Wolfville usually just for brunch at the Naked Crepe! Breakfast crepes are absolutely wonderful with a huge variety! But it does not stop there, they have many lunch and dinner crepes, desert crepes and thin crusted pizza. Today’s special was an amazing breakfast pizza. You will find the food consistently excellent, generous portions with a very short wait time. The staff are wonderful and always willing to go that extra step to ensure your dining experience is a great one. One note to readers is on the weekends this place can be very busy but if you have to wait it is worthwhile! I recommend you try the Naked Crepe! Big thumbs up!
