Winterthur (/ˈvɪntərtʊər/, German pronunciation: [ˈvɪntɐtuːɐ̯]; French: Winterthour) is a city in the canton of Zürich in northern Switzerland. It has the country's sixth-largest population, estimated at over 108,000 people, and the ninth largest agglomeration with about 138,000 inhabitants. Today Winterthur is a service and high-tech industry centre, but many people make use of its proximity to Zürich, which lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) to the south-west, and only 22 minutes by train.

Excellent food, excellent wine, excellent setting, excellent staff...just excellent! Check out the inside of this beautiful building, the wooden carvings and the unique old, ceramic heating ovens in each room. Check out the wine-cellar too...very atmospheric. Ask for Frau Brunner...completely dedicated to her customers and her company...a very nice lady.

I am a regular guest of the wonderful Park Hotel where this restaurant is located and I must say that I have never been disappointed by the food nor the service. Try the Bolet PilzRisotto (seasonal only) which is absolutely delicious and the Tartar also, served on with toasts and a lethal chili purée on the side. Bloom, a safe bet! The hotel full

Beautiful restaurant, very clean and superb staff. They do not have an extensive menu but do have a nice variety of appetizers, main dishes and dessert. Full bar, many wines and limited pop selection. I had the pork escalope and my husband had the steak with vegetables. The portions were good sized, the food and plate presentation were excellent. I would recommend not wearing jeans.

the tibits is very popular for a rich variety of food on a large selv-serve island. Usually I can't stop and take more than I actually wanted... So it gets a bit more expensive also. Incredibly savoury: my boys love to be invited there.

It's like one of these new restaurants which can be seen more and more in Zürich and Winterthur: Young chef and staff who are interpreting gourmet cuisine in a new, fresh and urban style. And the athmosphere just more relaxed as in the classic gourmet restaurants. They do serve a suprise menu for dinner. Three courses for 55 CHF, vegetarian is 45 CHF. Dessert or cheese as fourth course is served for additional 10 CHF. Food was awesome! Would definitely go back.

Was here a couple of times and like the "green-environment" in the restaurant. Food and drinks are fine as well. The staff-members especially the new Manager (& Chef) are attentive and communicative. We also tried out the Cigar-Lounge (attached to it) and were also here happy.

Everything was great.
The restaurant has around 7 tables therefore the service is exclusive. Once we had ordered, we received a small starter as courtesy.
Our main dishes were so delicious and the portion were quiet considerable. The wine selection was also great, ask for the Chilean wines ;)
At the end, also as courtesy, we received a small desert to share and our waitress was so nice with us all the time.
Without any doubt a must go place.

It is not a fancy restaurant but against the appearance one of the best restaurant in town,
if you are a carnivore you will adore their choice of Cordon-Bleu and if you are a vegetarian you have a good choice of vegetarian Pizza or Spätzle.
Another fact is that despite of their non-Italian name you will get one of the best Pizza here and it is also one of the rare Pizzeria you got wood-fired Pizza and as an extra home-made garlic and hot chilli sauce. Friendly stuff as well.
