Wiesloch (German: [ˈviːslɔx], locally [ˈvɪslɔx]), is a city in Germany, in northern Baden-Württemberg. It is situated 13 kilometres south of Heidelberg. After Weinheim, Sinsheim and Leimen it is the fourth largest city of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis and is in the north-central area near Heidelberg with its neighbouring town Walldorf with which it shares Wiesloch-Walldorf station. Also in the vicinity of Wiesloch are the cities and towns of Dielheim, Malsch (bei Wiesloch), Mühlhausen, Rauenberg and Sankt Leon-Rot.

This is clearly rather a pub than a restaurant, quite noisy, always crowded but a pleasant atmosphere. There are a lot of food options on the menu, and there is an extra menu with specials (Austrian fare right now). The food was mixed. The meat was very good, but the datils with bacon were below average, felt like convenience food (they emphasize they prapare the food themselves). Prices are rather high, but still normal considered the central location and the proximity to SAP. Service was very attentive, rather too much caring than too little. We felt we had to order so ething new before we were even finished.
Nice place to have a chat with friends, would go again.

A little hard to find this hotel / restaurant, there is a sign out by the main road, but you have to be looking for it, and then you take a narrow road back up in behind the trees. I only ate at the restaurant, so cannot comment on the rooms, but the food was good and they are able to accommodate gluten free requirements. They even have some awesome gf bread! They can pretty much make anything on their menu gluten free for you. There English was about as good as my German (not very!), but between us, we managed to figure everything out ok!

My clients brought me there and I was a little bit scared beacuse I don't like to eat italian food outside Italy but in amazement I have really eaten very good!
The owner is a really italian man from Calabria and of course he is super friendly.
I ate pappardelle with porcini and they were DELICIOUS and then a white fish with vegetables and it was great too.
If you are in Heidelberg get the chance to go there.

The outdoor Seating is lovely in summer.
Concerning the food, it does not match the raving reviews.
We went with the 3-course gourmet menu, skipping the dessert, and had a mixed experience:
the first course, salad with chanterelle (Pfifferling) and carpaccio instead of pata negra, was good, but the carpaccio was too mild to match the rest. The second course, quail's chest, was delicious, cooked to perfection. The main course, beef fillet, was good meat, but the composition was not really successful.
Along with an aperitif, 2 glasses of White and a bottle of Red we paid 190€.

This is exactly why I love tripadvisor so much. After a disappointing meal at the hotel restaurant the day before I wanted to make sure that my guys had proper food this time!
So what do you do... you go on tripadvisor to check reviews.
I optioned to go to this restaurant and immediately saw 4 pair of eyebrows frown. They boldly reminded me that my choice of restaurants this trip had a very bad start and if I wanted to keep my reputation as a 'connoisseur of good food' I'd better deliver with this one. ( they used a slightly different choice of words, but you get the idea )
On arrival we were greeted by the owner and he pointed us to a table, brought me menu and asked if the guys wanted a beer. He scored 10 points with that question and by the look on everyones faces the beer tasted well. For starters we had some plates of grilled peppers topped with chilli spices and garlic puree. and they were AMAZING !. the first 6 seconds your mouth if filled with an explosion of taste and then the heat comes. after you extinguish that with a zip of your drink, you want to do it all again. Next to this I had soup and garlic bread, both perfect as well ! As a main I had steak which was not the best steak ever, but very good nevertheless. Everything was served with more then enough side dishes and after I finished my ice cream, took the last zip of my drink and saw all the happy faces around me, I knew my reputation was saved.

The place is cozy. They have several vegetarian items on the menu (which is difficult in a Greek restaurant) and even the non-vegetarians in my group preferred to have that.
I couldn't take due to gluten-sensitivity but then I had the grilled aubergines. A little under-cooked for my taste. Salad was nice, french-fries were good. If you let them know that someone in the group has a birthday, the staff does fun stuff to celebrate it :-).

Finally tried this place out yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. You'll find the traditional Chines buffet food here, which if you go for lunch is priced exceptionally well. They do Mongolian BBQ, which I really like. The service was good as well. We'll definitely go back here when we're hungry for a Chinese buffet.

In the small town of Wiesloch in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, in a residential nation you will find a very different Buffet Restaurant. It is nothing like our $9.95 Senior Citizen Buffets in our shopping malls, rather it is spread out in a large field out in the country. As you enter, you pass a play area for children and another where you can leave your dog while you dine. There is a main building and various tents and out buildings where you will be seated for eating and ordering your drinks. The first area you can visit is an outside BBQ where all of the meats and fish are cooked along with side dishes such as fried potatoes and mushrooms or apple pancakes. Scattered around the area are many hot and cold foods, salads, many German dishes all of a quality not usually found at a buffet. If after sampling the many delicious choices, if you still are hungry, there is a large selection of Deserts to finish off your meal. If you are traveling in the Wiesloch area, Wimmer's would be a good choice for a great meal.

Nice environment, large and good ambience. Large variety in menu items and different language versions available. Italian of course main focus, but diverse. Good pizza for a decent prize named Parma (ham and cheese). Service is fine and quick Delivery. Had a good time and recommendable. Restaurant located in centre and view on a village square.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly and approachable. We've booked the table for 10 people earlier during the day and ended up there in the evening. We've ordered some of the meals which take longer to cook upfront and they were ready for us in the evening - all the participants really liked the experience we've had.
