We sat downstairs on the Terrace overlooking the river. We booked earlier in the day which the waiter said was necessary for the Terrace, although in the event it wasn't busy or full. We had fish soup and a fish and feta cheese salad. Both came promptly and were tasty and generous portions. We also enjoyed a half litre carafe of local red wine.

Liked it so much we went back a second time. The garden, set under olive trees and facing the sea, is peaceful and romantic. The staff was excellent and the food was very good and reasonably priced.

Just off the quieter Lucice Beach, it's a perfect spot to get out of the sun and grab some lunch and a cold pivo! We only snacked on a few appetizers, but the food was reasonably priced (the olives were dirt cheap and a huge bowl!) and tasty. The pizzas looked good, and they had a grill as well. Service was ok, nothing special. This is a perfect stopping point on the way back from the Gradiste Monastery in Buljarica.

We visited this place after a car drive along the bank of the Skadar Lake and bathing there. Read several tripadvisor reports and chose Kormoran for lunch. The only difficulty was to find it, there is no sign, one should ask local people. At that time there was a group eating inside, but they found a quite place for us in a room downstairs. The deficiency of sunlight was compensated by the coolness. The waiter Ivan was very pleasant and cheerful. We ordered assorted fish, the meal was excellent, portions big, prices moderate. Remarkable specific drinks. Excellent place, worth coming next time.

3 of us had lunch here. Lovely, peaceful location, sited by old fashion boat and the lake. Friendly service, though rather slow. Ordered soup and salads, all of which were good quality and tasty. Good local wine (and good place from which to visit local wineries just up the road).

Restoran Fortuna is fantastic place, located in the centre of the Petrovac Promenade. Beautifull small gardened Terrace with marvelous and excellent tasty fish and see food, friendly and descreet unobtrusive personal, and nice atmosphere arround. We had dinner here twice and incredible enjoyed. Before visiting Fortuna I read the reviews about the restaurant and find just one bad critic, but I am convicted that this bad critics come from the jelaous competition. This restaurant is extremly good and great. Must go there to visit again next year.

Beautiful family-run restaurant serving authentic Montenegrin and mediterranean cuisine. The Seating is available on beautiful terraces, where you will be protected from sun and heat by dense foliage.
Me and my partner ate there in the beginning of May. It was our second time there in restaurant. From first time we remember lamb we ate there. And I should say its perfect again. Slow cooked lamb with potatoes. Yami-yami. Service its extremely great. First time in my life we had change more than its should be. The bill was 41€ and waiter instead of 9€ change brought us 10€. Its just small thing of course but we liked it so much. Your guys create an impression of the Country. Therefore we like Montenegro so much. And also the point was that I was not even hungry but with first bite we where hocked there.
The service, test, location and attitude where fantastic. And I can promise if I visit again Montenegro I would love to go there again.

Driving to Podgorica, we decided to stop for lunch in Virpazar, as it looked like it had a few places to eat. By chance, we landed at the Restaurant Pelikan.
The atmosphere was very much old-style Yugoslavian. There was a small number of tables in a rather small room. Although smoking was prohibited, there was a smell of stale smoke, though this may have been due to a wood fire somewhere in the restaurant or perhaps even smoke coming from the kitchen. Or perhaps it was from decades of Yugoslav smokers before the prohibition of smoking.
In any case, the service in the restaurant was very friendly, even if lunch arrived rather slowly.
We thoroughly enjoyed the starters. The smoked fish, in particular, was excellent. The main courses were based on fish from Lake Skadar. While they were not bad in general, the eel had a muddy taste. The ingredients otherwise were rather creative, and with a bit more effort, the execution could have been really excellent. As it is, the dishes were rather average. The portions were enormous.
While I would not rule out visiting this restaurant again, I shall probably try another one of Virpazar's restaurants if I am passing through at meal time again.
