Kayak Tours & Kayak Fishing!
Good service, professional guide. Very nice experience. Word of advice, if you go kayaking with your girlfriend, get separate kayaks. The other way is pure torture ;-)

Alex & Jane gave me an unforgettable experience. Alex has a lot of experience with the flight above Petrovac. My first flight was canceled because the weather changed, the wait was rewarded it was a wonderful flight. Beautiful turquoise colors of the sea and in the distance I even saw the Skadarlake! Of course, the take off is bit exciting (it was My first jump) but with two passes and the correct posture we were already in the air. Then I felt very safe with Alex and came to enjoy the beautiful nature.

The peaceful Gradiste Monastery is on a hill in Buljarica above the highway nearby Petrovac. It's very easy to locate because it has enough notifications. Parking at the bottom. The walk up is nice and quite easy (the road is wide, with plenty of houses around and smooth surface), and it will not take so long. The place itself is very interesting, very old and with great number of medieval frescoes and icons. The stone complex includes three cute little churches (Sveti Nikola, Sveti Sava and Uspenje Bogorodice) and defensive wall. The first Serbian spelling book, which was printed in 1597, in Venice, was written in the Monastery of Gradiste. The monastery is rich in history. The Panorama views are beautiful! This monastery is a must if one is in the area.

We went at peak season and there were a lot of people, but yet the beach was still relaxing and fun. It's clean and the surrounding pine trees are beautiful. You can rent sun beds (12 eur for two) or a cabana (25 eur). The beach restaurant was a nice grill and a welcome change from the typical beach pizza joint. The wait staff is not great at serving on the beach, but the bar is close for you to get alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There is also a fresh juice bar with juice and smoothies. It's pretty good for snorkeling and we saw a variety of little fish. The beach is a short walk from Petrovac, or there is close in free and paid parking.

Hikers, You do have to go thereto and take the pedestric road from the main road to Petrovac, Not so a long walk (abt. 1,30 H) but with authentic yougoslavian views and you pass a lovely beach. One minus a 17 stages hotel under construction - but stopped after 2 years - close your eyes for this...

This lovely little church has a quiet ambiancee. What arelief from tehcrazy waterfront area. A place to sit down and gather one's self together and think about life is peace and quiet. Almost noone came by when we were there so we had the peace and quiet that this smple little church offered.

This is an important historical site which is hidden away and completely neglected. An attempt has been made to preserve it by building a glass viewing gallery over it but the door is locked and the steps up to the door are rotting away and perilous. The mosaic itself can be seen very dimly and it is immensely frustrating that it is in this sad state.
