The building that this restaurant is located is a national cultural monument. Situated in a quiet residential district, it is located in the vicinity of the Bratislava Castle. For lunch I had their duck leg with red cabbage and potato pancake for 12 euros. The tasty meat was succulent and tender. Wait staff was efficient and attentive. This attractive location had easy accessibility to the historic city center in addition to being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The most popular restaurant among locals, because the portions are large and prices appropriate. Restaurant serves a classic Slovak culinary mainstream - Fried pork steak, Fried cheese, Cordon Bleu, Montenegro steak (fried pork steak in spicy potato batter). Waiters and chefs are fast, only around noon you will probably have to wait longer for a meal (sometimes up to 30 minutes). Do not order a coffee - it's not good, you'd better order a soft drink named Kofola (Slovak version Cola with less caffeine).

Restaurant located in the centre of lozorno. Very pleasant and professional stuff, explained the standard menu and recommended the weekly menu, that consists of steak selection. We started with soup chicken consume and Italian tomato soup, both exceeded our expectations. Steak was great as well. We have ordered a fish- pike, that was great. Crispy skin, served with ravioli filled with pumpkins. For the desert we have ordered tiramisu and pana cota. Compared to main course, that was slightly behind . However, overall impression was good . We paid 25 EUR per person .

We had a late lunch here and we tried their pizza with mozzeralla di bufala. It was really good, well prepared with delicious tomato sauce and with light pasta. The service was also good, friendly and quite fast. The pizzaiolo was coming from Naples. We liked this place.

The Bio Salas Priroda is a great destination for a family trip from Bratislava. The kids can enjoy seeing all the farm animals, play in the playground and everybody can enjoy excellent local food made from the farm's own produce.
There are horses, rabbits, sheep, pigs, goats.... The playground facilities are a bit basic and worn out, but the old-fashioned wooden carousel is a great fun.
The restaurant in Salas has a great choice of local food - we had the dumplings filled with blueberries, cabbage soup and the traditional Slovak dish halushky (cheese dumplings) with bacon. The (Czech) beer isn't bad, either.

I went there today after my friends recommendation. Facility is impressive....looks like somebody spent like there is no tomorrow. Almost to much for small village. Food was actually excellent. Came fast, really nice looking, tasty. I had a big problem with service though. Wanted to sit by the windows, but they would not let me and they did not treat me as valued customer. I will not go back there because of that. It was so bad that i was ready to walk out, but my wife was super hungry so we decided to stay. Owner should spend more time there or train staff better.

We came across this country pub and restaurant quite by accident, on our way to the national shrine at Marianka, near Bratislava. Our no. 37 bus from the city Novo Most took us to nearby Zahorsky Bystrica, so we had a bit of a walk - about half an hour - to reach the little hamlet of Marianka.
Very good food at this place with a lovely rustic interior, and traditional menus. Very reasonable, and very friendly service. The people were helpful too, about finding our directions to the actual shrine. A quiet unspoilt place, out of season as we were, in February. Guess it's different in high season!

Traditional and true turkish kebap, falafel, pizza, salads, sweets...all food made from fresh components. Also nice sitting outside. Staff is quick, polite and friendly. Much more than just fastfood.
