We stopped here for a sugar rush after canoeing a section of the Gauja River. The three desserts we tried were super sweet but then some people would love it. The surrounding place which is a hotel and the restaurant were very neat and well looked after. However, for the three desserts and three coffees we paid €30, the most expensive we have ever had!

As another reviewer has noted, Sigulda is not a town for bars - this is one of the few that really fill that role and we liked it. Good drinks at reasonable prices, friendly service from flexible and attentive staff. A nice, relaxed atmosphere. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food!

We visited Cili Pica at Nida. It is right next to the ferry pier to Klaipeda. The pizzas we had were delicious and well balanced with fresh ingredients. The local beer was good. Compared with the pizzas we had in Naples three years ago, we considered Cili Pica was the winner.

We have chicken and fish dishes in this restaurant. Both dishes are great with so tender, moist meat. Really over expectation.

We were a group of 5 adults and two kids. Was here on the second day of Christmas (in Latvia). It is just a small restaurant but very cozy. They also have seats outside with external heating. We ordered pork steak cooked with potatoes, onions and some barbecue sauce. Chicken in skewers with potatoes served with a sauce (mixture of mayonnaise, senf and pickels) is highly recommendable. We tried 6 different cakes (snowman with chocolate base, chocolate muffin with christmas tree, salted caramel, red velvet, Pavlova and ginger cake). Cake price ranges from 2,40-3,20€ and above. I would highly recommend Pavlova cake (a merengue cake topped with whipped cream, blueberries, cranberries an chocolate). They main meal took more than 30 minutes because they just cook it after we ordered. So main meal here is definitely fresh. It is my second time here and would definitely come back again.

We were a group of seven, including young children, hungry and tired.
The food was ok, nothing to write home about.
The staff was extremely rude and impolite. Treated us as if we were bothering them, while chatting with local girls, bluntly ignoring us and when eventually serving us, did it slowly and inpatiently.
Definitely will not recommend this place.

Have been many times there with my family. Sometimes with another (friends) family together.
This is the place of wide meal offer for affordable prices.
Yes, during the peak moments can be too long waiting. But there's children playground outside to shorten the waiting.
Convenient parking nearby.
Location near to the highway getting out of Sigulda city.
Definitely recommended!

We invite you to our Hotel "Sigulda" restaurant. It combines 125 years old traditions with contemporary European and Latvian cuisine. Its exteriour is a unique 19th century stone building blended with modern interiour. Our guests can enjoy fresh meals on the summer Terrace with a picturesque view to the park. Take the chance to taste locally grown food and enjoy the surrounding nature that was admired by knaz Kropotkin already long time ago.
We visited this place twice - on the first night we were too late for meals, therefore we came back the next day as the food on other customers' plates looked delicious. However, on the next day, after waiting for more than 20 minutes to get a menu and trying to catch attention of the staff we left. Everybody seemed very busy trying to ignore our table.
