CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS FROM 14TH TO 26TH OF JANUARY 2017
Great menu, Victor will talk you through it and make recommendations, (he does this with everyone and this can make for slow service) no wine list, the recommended Rose was lovely (16 euros) a bottle so a little different from most other restaurants
However would visit again, make sure you book, you won’t get in otherwise
The goats cheese balls with honey were to die for

We're the 'new' café MED and we do fresh, real food. If you've heard we are really friendly and our food is seriously tasty, well then you heard right! Now you can come and see for yourself! All our food is cooked to order (except those succulent slow cooked dishes!) using fresh, locally sourced produce. We are serious foodies, with decades of experience in hospitality. Lunch includes home made burgers, melts and salads. For dinner we have seriously yummy Pork Belly, mouth-watering Hungarian Beef Stew, Fresh Salmon and plenty more. All our starters and delicious desserts are home made also. It's best to make a booking for dinner time as we are a small, select restaurant and we fill up fast.
We went on two occasions while in Tenerife. Note: I found a lot of restaurants are located within Resorts vs streets only. This restaurant has an outdoor section as well as a small bar.
This is a small establishment so Reservations would be a good idea, the owner is from UK and is easy to talk too not just because of English but because of his personality. The four different meals we had were all tasty, well done and good portions. They also have daily specials along with happy hour 4-5 PM.

The Rendezvous Bar and Bistro is situated next to the Bowling Green within the Winter Gardens complex on Golf del Sur. We have breakfast, lunch and evening menus, served by polite, professional and courteous staff. We use nothing but high quality produce. The setting of the Bar and Bistro is in the peaceful, clean and safe setting of Winter Gardens. Aside from delicious, value for money food, we also have live entertainment, show live sport on our large screen TV's and projector, quiz night, party nights, theme nights amongst many other activities.
We had experienced several poor quality meals before visiting the Rendezvous ..... the quality of food here easily surpassed all other restaurants in the area .... on our second visit I had the Big Breakfast .....Wow!

My boyfriend and I were welcomed with a smile. Two gentlemen greeted us and guided us to our table. The restaurant was bright and tastefully decorated. The tables were a good distance apart. We had popadoms to start with the various tasty dips. For main course I had chicken passansa, my boyfriend had lamb jalfrezi. We shared a pilau rice and a peshwari naan bread. The food was piping hot and tasted beautiful. The meat was tender and the curries were full of flavour. The naan bread had to be the best I have ever tasted. The service was great. The waiters were very attentive. As an added bonus we recieved a free ice cream to finish. Overall a beautiful meal in a lovely relaxed setting with fabulous staff. My boyfriend and I will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to others!! It's a must visit when on holiday to golf del sur!!

We came here with high expectations based on most reviews.
Daily special of warm chickpea salad with peppers was good, if not traditional tapas.
Chorizo was ok, too.
But house potatoes with ketchup (aka tomato sauce on menu)? The waitress confirmed it was ketchup.
And Sambuca prawns (frozen; why when tastier ones are caught off shore???) were suspiciously sweet (may have been cooked with sweet Thai Chilli sauce?), and oily.
NONONONO.
There have to be better tapas places in the area: AVOID.

We visited this restaurant several times during our holiday and it was consistently good. Staff are friendly and knowledgable and service is excellent. Tapas choice and specials are great. Prawn and rib specials excellent. Thanks to all the staff we will be back next time we are on the island. Thank you.

Decided to try Dabda for dinner after passing it earlier in the day as menu looked interesting. Staff friendly. Good variety of dishes available tapas and mains. Both had pasta dishes which were tasty. Other dishes we saw also looked tasty. Not the cheapest place around but worth trying for sure.

Visited twice in a week. Sampled fantastic baguettes, pancakes, apple pie and a particularly good sangria with fresh fruit ( not tinned as a lot of others). Situated in a brilliant location overlooking the sea we loved it !

Just went for a mid-morning drink. I had orange juice (nice), my wife had a coffee (excellent). Clean toilets, pleasant view. Recommended

When we opened Aries Bar in Amarilla Golf in January 2013 we were determined to open a bar and restaurant that provided honest home cooked meals that were value for money and came with a friendly service. We moved from Co. Kildare in Ireland with the intention of opening our own bar and restaurant as we both have a passion for the industry with over 50 years experience between us both in the field. Jenny has worked front of house management in hotels and restaurants and Martin has worked with many top Irish acts in the Entertainment business such as Marmalade, Smokie, The Drifters and Boyzone. We love the social side of our job and with the help of our daughters Shauna and Amy we set out to make sure each of our customers enjoy their experience here in Aries and always receive a warm Irish welcome. True to our Irish nature we not only have a happy hour but a happy time from 12pm to 6pm and include great food offers. We haven't left our love of the potato at home either and all our delicious chips are home peeled and home cooked. We have loved every minute of running Aries Bar from having the craic and banter with customers to getting up and singing along with the entertainment acts so we hope you come along to our little piece of Ireland in Amarilla Golf.
Awesome little bar we can here for breakfast on two morning during our visit would of been three if they was open the Wednesday. Andy the bar man very helpful great with the awkward customers that we were asking for so many different drinks being a group of nine ladies on a hen do. Service was quick but not rushed. Can't comment on the atmosphere of an evening because we didn't go here but would definitely recommend for breakfast and the happy hour drinks which was on day whilst we was there. Not that I drank being pregnant. And Andy you was right it's a girl
