Athelstane House is one of the Bellarine Peninsula and Victoria's most beautiful dining, accommodation and function venues. Built in 1860, Athelstane was extensively restored in 1999 to offer ten individually styled guest rooms and a restaurant that has showcased food from some of the best chefs in the region. Open 7 days for breakfast from 8 till 10:30am and dinner, from 6pm.
We enjoyed a fantastic dinner on Monday night December 11 in the restaurant. The menu has sufficient variety to meet most people's needs. The chef Tricia has worked in fine restaurants including many years at Mietta's and boy can she create a great meal!
The restaurant is open for bookings not just for house guests and we would highly recommend it. Pricing is fair and we believe good value. Our waitress was very friendly and informative when it came to the choice of red wine. We enjoyed a very nice Merlot with dinner. Breakfast the following morning was outstanding! I made a bold statement that I stick by: THE best cooked breakfast I have ever eaten! True! Every element was perfectly cooked and presented - a class act! Drop in and experience it for yourself, I think you will agree quality, presentation, taste and amount provided get a 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you to Tricia and Laurel, you made our stay and look forward to returning to Athelstane House again in the very near future.

360Q is an iconic two-storey dining venue situated on the waterfront at Queenscliff Harbour. We offer two incredible venues: the 360Q function space upstairs for events and private functions & more casual dining downstairs area for breakfast and lunch seven days a week and for dinner Thursday to Sunday. It’s a venue well loved by locals from surrounding towns such as Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale and Geelong, visitors from Mornington Peninsula who arrive by ferry and Melburnians alike.<br>Closed since 2014, 360Q was re-opened in 2016 by chef to the celebrities Barry Iddles, who also runs Sorrento Catering, 333 in Melbourne, Tarnuk Room and Boon Wurrung Cafe at Australian Gardens in Cranbourne and Elk Restaurant at Falls Creek.
My husband and I, along with another couple stayed in Queenscliff this long weekend. We decided to visit 360Q as we had checked out of our rental and wanted some breakfast before heading home. We found not a lot opens early in Queenscliff so found ourselves here and we were glad. The location, the service and food were all great. The coffee was also excellent. The staff friendly without being over the top. We’d definitely go back.

Lombardys is a family friendly pizza & pasta restuarant. Since opening in 2006 we have also add Parmi's and Schnitzel's to our menu. Gluten Free?? we have that covered too! With a small toddler playroom & kids meal deals mum's and dad's can relax. At Lombardys you can choose to dine in, take away or let us deliver to you.
A great evening here for us! It was pretty busy on an otherwise quiet Tuesday in town, but it was easy to understand why after eating. The chilli prawns were full of flavour and the portion was excellent. The beef tortellini with ham and mushrooms was just superb, with wonderfully tender pasta.
With very friendly and helpful staff, this is a great restaurant.

The Salt Lounge is a special place; a place of refinement ideally suited to conversation, cocktails, food, music, and general frivolity. Nestled upstairs above Salt Gallery, Queenscliff, imagine a decadent Victorian parlour room setting combining art, funky furniture and collectables, and you'll have some idea of what's on offer at the Salt Lounge.
I love this place. It is a gallery downstairs with interesting artwork and upstairs it's a very funky bar. The decor is very different, I'd describe it as eclectic, charming and unique. It is very old worlde and funky. They have an interesting range of...MoreBelated thanks for your fabulous review AussieTripper100; we appreciate the time you have taken to pen your thoughts. Not sure if you're aware but as of October we've made some changes to the Salt Lounge. Check out our Facebook page SaltLoungeQueenscliff for details!

Had coffee outside under the trees, with Portuguese tarts, very yummy, couldn't resist walking through the nursery, the plants were so well priced we couldn't resist a few purchases, noticed there was parking out the back as well. So peaceful and cheerful staff. Take your mozzie spray or sit inside!

Housed in an invitingly converted roadhouse, PIKNIK started out making preserves from forgotten fruits 'picked' and 'nicked' from backyards on the Bellarine Peninsula. PIKNIK is a unique cafe and store at the heart of the Bellarine Taste Trail. Drop in for beautiful Allpress coffee, home-churned ice-cream, fresh house made cakes & pastries and some of the best value cafe food you will find! Many of our ingredients are grown on-site or sourced from the Bellarine Peninsula. Match our fantastic food with one of our wonderful local wines or beers. Don't forget to pick up a jar of our preserves along the way.
We dropped in for a weekend brunch. Really great produce and service. If your in the area great stop off between Drysdale and Queenscliff only check opening times before you go. Highly Recommended

That would tell you how good the quality of the ice cream is. Being only over an hr away from Melbourne, Queenscliff is where we go for a shore weekend break and we do it often. This ice cream shop is our all time favour, regardless of the season.

Stopped off on a rainy spring day for a late brekky to this warm & cheerful cafe. I had eggs benny & chai latte (bonsoy & real tea leaves) which was very nice indeed and my travelling companion had the Avocado Egg brekky which had lashings of spinach, cherry tomatoes & cucumber on a generous half sourdough roll. The sticky balsamic was a hit with this dish and the coffee was considered one of the best had on our 3 days visiting the Bellarine. Service by the owner & staff was obliging and friendly. Highly recommend. Came away with a Gluten free lemon slice that looked too good to leave behind. All meals made on the premises. Yum.
