Poros is a small Greek island-pair in the southern part of the Saronic Gulf, about 58 km south from Piraeus and separated from the Peloponnese by a 200 m wide sea channel, with the town of Galatas on the mainland across the strait.

Visited twice during our stay and both meals were excellent. Everyone that we spoke to recommended it, including several locals and returning tourists.
Stuffed chicken breast with bacon and cheese, lamb shank in red wine sauce, grilled shrimps in garlic and cognac sauce, and the dauphinous potatoes were all top notch. The starters and sweets were also very, very good.
The service was prompt, but the restaurant was not busy when we visited. No draft beer and a limited choice of wine, but that did not matter.
Slightly more expensive than some of the other local tavernas, but was well worth the money. 2 x 3 courses plus 1 litre of house wine was around 35-40 euros.

On Island Of Kefalonia In The Port Of Poros, No Street Name
Wonderful lunch with three friends. We ordered lots of little dishes, saganaki, meatballs, Greek salad, wild greens, village sausage and famous greek chips. We were not disappointed. Service as always was great. The view stunning. The food just lovely and we spent a very long relaxing afternoon eating lovely food, admiring the view and didn't feel rushed or hurried in any way. It was charming well worth a visit and Voula sings in the evenings which is a great bonus. Very reasonably priced.

Near the centre of Skala village in Cephalonia, you will find Sugar Lemon. From the morning, Sugar Lemon serves a great variety of different types of breakfast, snacks and coffees in order to start off the day. In midday and evening we serve delicious pizzas, pastas, fresh salads and homemade burgers and await you until the late hours to complete it with waffles, ice-creams, sweets, drinks and cocktails.
Excellent value for money, had the best pizza's in town. All freshly cooked and you are able to see into the kitchen area, very generous portions, a lovely touch after a meal was a quirky little bottle of sangrier. Fantastic service from fantastic staff. Went quite a few times and always good food.
Played lovely vintage cafe chill out music , so you were still able to chat or just chill out at the views.

Tried this taverna and wished I hadn't, the menu was extremely difficult to understand as dishes were dotted all over the place so you didn't know what you were looking at, we gave up and just picked the Greek mixed grill for two, another mistake ,when it came out it looked so unappealing as the chops were cremated and the other meats looked no better, and to add insult to injury the bill was plonked on the table at the same time as if to say please eat and leave, so we did and I wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone

We had dinner here one evening while visiting Poros.
The setting is very nice. You literally eat at the edge of the sea.
Very friendly service but we had to wait quit a while for our pasta dishes.
The food was good. If the pasta had not been a tiny bit over boiled I would had said excellent.
Very competitive prices.
Recommended.
