I used to visit this restaurant in my college years back in the late 70's early 80's, many hikes started and ended here.The old place is gone, damaged by floods. New restaurant sits higher above the creek, but the food is still great.Thank You very much for a nice words:)

Nice place, good food, I ate a pizza, it was really huge (40/60 cm!) and tasty. The only drawback is the inability to pay by card.

Together with friends we visited Piwniczna this June and found this lovely small Ice-Cafe. Its exterior looked way better than all the other locations at the small market square so we decided to go in. The interior was even better - bery stylish and still comfortable in warm colors, with flowers on the table - very nice. But the best was their home made and very delicious icecream (different tastes, varies daily) which is produced just one floor above the cafe. As a add on you have an outstanding friendly staff who really makes you feel welcome there.. We even talked to the owner, who told us a lot about making icecream and stuff - such a nice guy!
So our wecret hints: If available, try pistachio, florencja or berries icecream, they are amazing. The flowering heart is a green tea, which brews to a small flower - looks good, tastes even better. And last but no least - they got very delicious cakes there! So if you are looking for the best Cafe in Piwniczna in my opinion there is only one choice: Florencja.

We stayed in Piwniczna Hotel Spa & Conference for 4 days and almost all time we were eating at the hotel restaurant, because it was good and not expensive (for 4* hotel restaurant). Good and helpful staff, nice menu with many local choices and tasty food. Recommended!

A must go if you are in Piwniczna. Quality ice cream and home-made cakes are definitely worth trying.
My tip: try freshly squeezed juice. For example parsley-lemon or cucumber-mint
At time they didn't accepted credit cards, but an ATM is just on the other side of the street.

Restauracja funkcjonuje równocześnie z wyżywieniem dla gości hotelowych (śniadania i obiadokolacje). Serwuje również wina (dość dobry wybór) i sezonowe dania. Jest z czego wybierać, dania są dobrze, starannie przyrządzone i zawsze smakują dobrze a porcje są w sam raz. Smakuje o wiele lepiej, kiedy słuchać muzykę, a nie krzyczących do siebie licznych uczestników zbiorowych wyjazdów (weekendy). Ale obsługa jest przemiła i widok z okien na las karmi zmysły :)

OK. to be honest the food in general is average but good enough to beat the hunger after the whole day of snowboarding or skiing. The apple pie is a different story - it is really great! Traditional Polish pie with the best Polish apples. Perfect way to round up the meal.

we visited place just for a tea and coffee, firstly it was cold there, bud they put the heat on and all was fine afterward. we came there with baby buggy and the do not have any platform or ramp, staircase is very steep and for one person to carry buggy, wheelchair, etc. is too complicated and hard. beverages were ok , service also.

A friend recommended this place mainly for the gorgeous view. Bacówka is at a height of almost 1000m over the sea level. You can also admire ponies and black sheep. We decided to had lunch and both had different varieties of placki ziemniaczane (potato pancakes). The prices and very affordable and the food tasty.

Przez 15 minut po wejściu nikt się nami nie zainteresował. Nawet gdy sami wzięlismy sobie kartę, to trzeba było poprosić kelnerkę by przyszła przyjąć zamówienie.
Zamówiliśmy regionalną wersję pierogów - takiej ilości soli to w jedzeniu chyba jeszcze nie miałem. Nie dało się też tego popić zamówionym barszczem ponieważ tam też soli to było bardzo od serca.
