Unexpected deliciousness!!! Instantly became our favourite Restaurant in town. If you're in Biel, this is the restaurant you'd love to visit. Great food, delicious desserts, all served by very friendly staff. Located in the middle of the old town in the city, Saint Gervais is is spacious, simply charming, ambiance sort of feels like you've gone abroad, but it's homey too - really pretty with the lights, and has a real family /good friends atmosphere.

On a hotel recommendation we picked les caves and were not disappointed. Service was attentive and courteous. We both had veal which was tender and nicely flavoured. The setting is pleasant and on a warm September evening, the overall experience quite pleasant.

When you plan a visit to the Paul Klee Museum and you have time - then have a lunch or a diner at the Restaurant Schöngrün which is located at the Museum.
The menu they offer as a business lunch is great and you can choose out of 2 - 3 or 4 course menu including or excluding wines going with the different dishes.
The service is great and the food is fantastic. If you like tiramisu - spoil yourself with the house made version which will surprise you in a positive way.

I was taken to this restaurant by a Biel's local guy.
It was according the expectations: good service, not wide assortment but working on receipts they know will go well.
It's driven by the owner in the kitchen, what makes a big different from others.
I had a very nice carpaccio and a superb beef tartar.
Fully recommendable if you want to get not super ambitious receipts but being sure that what is done is done wanting to be as good as possible. The price is very nice for what you get.
Small place with friendly ambience. A bit noisy but not too much.

The interior of Stadthaus is really nice and, despite it's village location, is always buzzing. Booking is recommended for popular nights like Friday. Their tomato soup is amazing and so are all the pizzas and other dishes. Definitely worth a visit. Staff are always friendly!

I really enjoyed an evening here with colleagues. I could sit and watch the view for ages. Particularly fine was the local speciality of white wine soup. Delicious! Also excellent grilled salmon. The service was good and the staff extremely friendly. I would recommend it for an evening out.

Great food and awesome service. Celebrated my mother's 70th birthday party with large group. everybody had a terrific time. The owner was always present and paid close attention to all details. We will all be back. It's a real gem, almost a culinary secret!

A small, cozy restaurant. No big menu card, but what is offered is always fresh and up to date! The host / cook has also often surprising recommendations that you should take to heart.
We were never disappointed until now, it tempts us to go there again and again.

We were in this beautiful place in June. It’s simply great good fresh food and a perfectly adapted wine list, friendly and attentively staff - simply a lovely Place.
We tried yesterday again, but the restaurant is closed. They will reopen soon and will offer new meals. We will definitively come back soon to try.

The fish dishes are highly recommended for its freshness. I was told they got the fish from the same lake next to it. The outdoor Seating is very scenic. Facing the beautiful lake. House wine is also great. Not forgetting. ..the excellent service from all the staff.
