After having had a take away pizza several months ago which was really burnt on the edges and the bottom i tried it again this evening and got very disappointed again:
my pizza was like charcoal, and to top this off someone said
"that's how they do them here". And "don't worry, if you complain about it, the owner won't like it, apparently he doesn't really care! ....WHAT?
Please change your attitude and treat your customers with respect!
It used to be a buzzing place with consistently very good pizza, AND NOW?
Does the owner actually know that burnt food is CARCINOGENIC?
I won't go back to this place where 'politeness' is preferred to honest feedback.
Do you and your employees actually enjoy working there?
It seems like "just for the money" cause you pay 25 dollars!!! for an inedible pizza.
There is lots of room for improvement, please make use of this!!!!

Casual service with fine dining quality food. Open 7 days & dinner on the weekends, with live music pumping & great local culture pouring through the doors. This venue is iconic for its natural beauty & with its gorgeous Poinciana tree, this really is a magical place to be in Mullum.
We ate here as we were passing through in the middle of the day. A pleasant surprise in a quite area with an enjoyable meal. I has crumbed cauliflower, hummus, zaatar and lemon for $12 while my husband has Argentina beef empanadas with chimme churri for $15. We both enjoyed our meals washed down with a nice coffee.

During the Christmas holidays I spent some time at Brunswick Heads while travelling with my caravan and had several meals at this wonderful hotel.
Originally built in the 1940’s, it has been enlarged with a few new bits and the original charm and décor has been beautifully restored in recent times.
You enter through a very large beer garden with Poinciana Trees providing lots of shade, there’s two bars, brasserie with indoor or outdoor dining, great coffee, a few pokies and super friendly staff.
The hotel is very spacious with what might be called unpretentious style and it has that uncluttered feeling that not many pubs seem to have these days.
There’s even a curved stairway winding its way upstairs to the tastefully restored accommodation.
The brasserie is called Bruns and has the type of food we have come to expect with quality Aussie pub fare.
Things like steaks, seafood, chicken, bruschetta, burgers, salads and pizzas. Plus the usual chips and wedges.
I found my meals well presented, tasty, looked good on the plate and be warned, you won’t go home hungry as the portions are usually huge.
And even when the staff were busy they were all smiles and your meal didn’t take forever to be ready except one day when the place was packed and there was a bit of a back-up.
If you would like to partake of a refreshment or two in the beer garden while being entertained, live music is usually on Friday and Saturday nights plus Sunday afternoons.
The hotel is located on Mullumbimbi Street, (note the spelling, not Mullumbimby like the nearby town) adjacent to the Brunswick River and just about slap bang in the heart of Brunswick Heads.
If you are travelling in the area I believe it’s definitely worth a look.

Yami serves fresh authentic Middle Eastern food. Located in Brunswick Heads, come and enjoy delicious vegetarian and vegan meals on our outdoor deck by the Brunswick river. Open 7 days. Open evenings during the summer from Wednesday to Saturday.
I have been going here since I was in my early teens (about twenty years), and although it's changed hands since the beginning, the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are still fantastic and I highly recommend going here for breakfast lunch or dinner!!!

We were seated and told our order would be taken in order of customers arriving. After an hour and half of waiting ( without being check in on) and watching customers who arrived after us recieve meals, we decide to enquire how our meals were going. After staff went back and forth a few times we were told our order had not been placed and they werent sure how long it would take, here admitting " i f**ked up", here we were left with the option to continue to wait or go elsewhere. The latter we choose. Now it was 8.40 and majority of restaurants were shut. As locals of 30 years, we continue to support local business and this experience was beyond disappointing.

We dined here last night for the first time and loved the food. It's fresh, authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a restaurant with a thai atmosphere and ambience this is not the place for you as it is in a regional bowling club, but if you are after great thai food, I can recommend it highly. We will definitely be back.

It has great food for a pub in a small town not far from Bryon bay.
Looking for lunch and the choices around Mullumbimby are numerous we chose the Courthouse Hotel.
A nice pub with a good pub menu and a great selection to chose from. I chose a Parmagiana and my wife a House smoked salmon salad. The meals arrived with minutes and presentation was good. The Parma was tasty but the wedge of chicken was a little bit too thick and the name cheese and tomato sauce on top was somewhat lacking and could have been a little more generous. My wife had no issues at all with her salad commenting how tasty it was. The beer was cold and the serve of wine generous so all up we intend to go back when next we visit Mullumbimby. Good work.

7pm on a Friday night and fairly quiet initially, food order came pretty quick as a result. Food was lovely and we really liked the Sashimi. Restaurant was super busy come 8pm, so pick your time for a faster service!
