Great food, wonderful staff. Made multiple trips for the milkshakes and cheeseburgers. The sandwiches were nothing special, but the crepes are quite good. Nice break while walking around town, stop by after a trip to the artisan market

This hotel restaurant is on a Terrace overlooking a beautiful pool with tropical landscaping. We stayed at the hotel and ate here numerous times, but the restaurant is well worth eating at even for those not staying at the hotel.
The menu is varied and kept our group happy for several days. The thin-crust pizza is really great. They also have a delicious vanilla pepper sauce featured on several dishes including shrimp and grilled fish. The spaghetti was generous but less flavorful. Chocolate crepes and mousse were good.
The staff are fabulous. They are very attentive, quick to smile, and very welcoming.

Tables on the Terrace often benefit from a welcome ocean breeze. If you have trouble choosing, try one of the platters for two which offer a variety of Vietnamese dishes. Recommended.

You can eat pretty much everything at this place: there is a menu with pizzas and burgers, one for snacks, and an extensive one for seafood, etc. The food tastes absolutely perfect, service is spotless and prices are alright. Do go there when in Mahajanga!

The French patron and manager warmly welcome you into their bijou little restaurant which has just been refurbished. The decor is fantastic bright hand-painted African sunset safari murals and large wooden masks. The service and food are excellent. As well as an extensive menu, the Plat du Jour (menu of the day) offers great value. It's a creative, superb 3 course meal available for lunch and supper. You can enjoy 1, 2 or all 3 courses at a really good price.
In addition there's normally a delicious Amuse Bouche (canape style taster) to start and if you're lucky the manager will offer you a complimentary Rhum Arrangee (flavoured rum) at the end of your meal. The jus natural (fresh fruit juice) is delicious. The food was so good that we ate here every evening.
Air conditioned interior, a large Terrace, free wifi and great music (at a sensible volume!). Open for lunch and evening every day except Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes.

Our first time in Mahajanga and our friends took us here to try the ice cream. The Ice cream is amazing!! I tried the banana split and it was quite a treat. The banana ice cream was my favorite. My family and I went back the next day for another round of ice cream. The owner is very friendly and the staff are quite pleasant and eager to serve you. Very nice experience. Will be back to try the pasta, which I hear is very good.

Our cook, a retired member of the Hotel de France, has a solid and long-standing experience at 50 years and knows better than anyone else how to let the taste of food speak with his personal touch, a skilful mix of ingredients and spices typical of Madagascar. Since April 2014, we have launched our Lebanese card in partnership with the Oriental in Ivandry Antananarivo, who trained our cook. Chef Nicolas Milliot has worked with the greatest chefs in their kitchens to train their brigades on new technologies in cooking in ovens. The restaurant serves breakfasts and is open every day lunch and dinner except Sunday lunch. Formula starter + main course of the day or main course of the day + dessert or starter + dessert to Ar 19,000.- every noon except Sunday. Every Saturday evening, we propose culinary theme evenings: declension of foie gras, French specialties, Lebanese, Malagasy, ... How not to think of good wines when you taste good products? Coco Lodge has a great wine list: Chateau les Eyquem Hautes Graves Margaux 2012, Chateau BEAU SITE ST ESTEPHE ROUGE 2004, Burgundy Hautes Cotes de Nuit, Lambrusco Signore Giuseppe, POUILLY FUISSE JOUE DU ROY 2011, PETIT CHABLIS LAMBLIN 2011, Champagne MOET & CHANDON, wines from Alsace, wines from Chile, South Africa, there is something for every taste and for every purse (from € 15.- to € 95.-).
The Cook in this restaurant is very talented, I had twice red tuna with slightly roasted sesame seeds and wasabi sauce. The fish perfectly raw inside and just cooked for a few seconds on the outside. Everything is fresh and divine. Excellent!

I went there in year 2007 when I was still settled in Madagascar with my husband. We were with a couple of friends and we discovered that little restaurant thanks to some advices we obtained from my husband's ex-manager. The seafood there is fresh from the sea, melting in the mouth and incredibly tasty! And the little restaurant itself is cute, colorful and clean! A great address to experience seafood out of Antananarivo!
