Great restaurant on the beach of Noordwijk. With lounge, outside bar, very good music,
Group of 6 of us on a golf tour booked dinner at the Branding Beachclub. The venue situated on the beach overlooking the North Sea. Stunning views, great menu, friendly staff and chilled music. Great time had by all.

Each Sunday this restaurant offers a set Sunday lunch, and while you can order off the main menu, I'd stick with this option. This we did and feasted on exquisite food, seasonally fresh and beautifully presented. The husband and wife duo are lovely. They even...MoreThanks for the lovely words Greetings Cor en Sjaan Raggers

Eleni was full when we got there, but we had a reservation TG. When we sat down, the restaurant was a bit noisy. Not because the tables are too close together, but because everyone is having a good time and also because the decor doesn't absorb any noise. we had the Chef's special, with some extra salads and altogether we had a lovely meal. Lots of grilled meat, as you would expect at a Greek restaurant, and very good service. The food was very fresh and well prepared, much nicer than most Greek restaurants I've been to. Price range is reasonable, not the cheapest, but very fair for the quality of the food and the overall experience. So we left in good spirits and we will recommend and return some time. PS: Funny detail is they serve 0.5 liter bottles of wine. This wine is very good with the food.

Easy To Find On The Web
The restaurant is well-appointed and attracts a nice class of clientele both young adults leading up to senior citizens. Fortunately, there were not any screaming babies or children running around which can always be a problem at restaurants when you have parents who disown them during their stay.
While the ambience and location of the restaurant could not be faulted, I think that the average age of the staff should be increased marginally so that an adult can give direction. The serving time wasn't quick even though at 14:00 hrs. on a Saturday afternoon the restaurant wasn't busy.

We organized a friends and family BBQ for 40 people at the Strandhuys. All contacts beforehand were very friendly and clear. They set aside a nice part of the restaurant for us with indoor and outdoor Seating. The quality of the meats and fish on the BBQ was above expectations and really outstanding. Bread and fries also top notch. We did the drinks just by the order and the prices were quite moderate. With some good weather included, the party was a big success!

New restaurant - opened in May 2012. At Sunand we serve dishes from North and South India and we always serve our dishes as fresh as possible. Our Indian chef mr. Singh will take you on a great journey through colorful and culinary India.
The food was perfectly reasonable Indian food. Unfortunately the experience was marred by the waiting staff - both Australians - that clearly had a very different understanding of how to wait on tables.
NB for reference I'm 30-something and normally sleep in youth hostel dorms - I am not fancy nor do I frequent high-class establishments.
1. Waiter asking "how is the food?" 10-15 seconds after serving it (and of course too hot to even put a spoon of it in my mouth).
2. Coming up to me 4-5 times during my meal to ask if I "everything was alright" and if I "needed anything". How about watching for eye contact (but see later)?
3. Waitress cleaning my plates asks if I would like any dessert. "No thank you", I smile. "Ah, right, you're stuffed". I was astounded by that turn of phrase, which is very rude in England (but perhaps not in Australia?).
4. After the waiter had been bothering me every 5 minutes to ask if everything was ok, he then hid in the reception area chatting up the waitress - my vain attempts at getting sufficient attention to pay were ignored, forcing me to walk up to them smile and ask if I could have the cheque.
Normally I don't even notice service - but this was so bad it left a bad taste in my mouth that could not be alleviated by the otherwise reasonable food.
