Very nice relaxed beach. Parking can be a bit of a problem on busy days. Nice beach bars/clubs with good food.

Rain or shine, I'd always recommend this experience and not only because I'm obsessed with space travel. While some of the installations are a bit tired, they are still fun. Especially the model of ESA's module on the ISS is fun, and the asteroid never fails to blow my mind.

Very well done displays provide a local perspective helping visitors feel the smothering oppression of World War II occupation. Faced with extreme controls, closely watched communications, capital seizure, and possible forced relocation, more than 70 locals chose to attempt escape to England. About half survived to fight for liberation. Interactive exhibits are very professional. Look at the North Sea (even on a calm day) and then to the small boats on display and you'll immediately see the challenge and sense the demand for liberation and survival. Against all odds, a handful fought to regain freedom.

Not really knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised at the length of the tour, the extend of the bunkers and the areas restored. It was very educational and the tour was in English.
An excellent place to go on a wet, wind swept day.
Some disabled access to bunkers, guide had been one of those boys playing there after the war, Interesting to see the war from the other side.
Reasonable price entrance.

The small Museum Noordwijk is situated in one of the few remaining historic buildings not demolished during the 20th century.Charming historic buildings like this museum are rare in the large Sea-side up-scale resort of Noordwijk aan Zee.In the same building; VVV Noordwijk provides touristic information. The volunteers working in the small museum were very talkative and friendly and I enjoyed some fine 19th century paintings.Noordwijk Binnen in contrast to the coastal resort offers charming historic architecture around Voorstraat -Oude Sint Jeroenskerk -Lindenplein area.

I used the visitor centre to get some local transport advice. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. Alot better than my Dutch anyhow.

The small "Streekmuseum Veldzicht "in Noordwijk Binnen is only open in the weekend. These limited opening times are unlike its sister;"Museum Noordwijk" in Noordwijk aan Zee that also opens its doors on workdays.
I enjoyed the information about farmers life in the "Bollenstreek"; the cultivation of herbs and flower-bulbs and the herb-garden makes for a pleasant stroll .
Noordwijk Binnen has some interesting historic architecture at' Lindenhof"-Voorstraat-"Oude Sint Jeroenstoren"Oude Sint Jeroenskerk dating from the 12 century and 19th century Nieuwe Sint Jeroenskerk.
Other than that most of the village feels modern.
Noordwijk aan Zee is not blessed with great architectural beauty but there is a old fisherman's Chapel, old Lighthouse and the before mentioned "Museum Noordwijk" in the only remaining old fisherman's house.
As I visited the museum on a bike trip I could also visit the old church in nearby Rijnsburg and the small atmosperic Spinozahuis.

JUMPIN' Noordwijk Large indoor trampoline park. There are several kinds of trampolines including a TUMBLING LANE, FOAM PIT and a DODGE COURT. You can jump as much as you like, take lessons or organize an active party! Hop till you drop and happy landing!
Nice place with good coffee for the adults! The kids will love the trampoline park. You get 60 mins and that is more than enough.
