Constructed in a historical 1890’s building, the restaurant is located on the edge of the cliff directly above the cosmopolitan town of Agios Nikolaos. We tasted the best and the freshiest grilled fish ever! The people there are really warm and friendly. They have their own fishing boat so their fish are really fresh. Most importantly they know how to prepare them and grill them. Do not miss the homemade bread by the mother of the owner, it is delicious! The place has a great view and it fantastic for kids as it has a big yard where they can run and play safely.

This looks like the sort of restaurant that microwaves everything- menus with pictures etc! However we were very pleasantly surprised that most of the food was cooked fresh and tasted great. It's not the best food in the area but it's probably the best value for money and the staff were very friendly and great with the kids. There is a 'play area' for the kids that could do with some new toys but it was a nice touch.

Try the cheese saganaki for starters. Delicious. We wanted the meatballs too but were told it would be too much with our mains. Too right! House red wine was delicious too. My favourite loukomades were complementary at the end of dinner. Nice little family restaurant with good service and very reasonable prices.

This restaurant is an absolutely divine place! It's great for a family dinner with Greek food and wine. Make sure you try tsatsiki, Greek salad, grilled mushrooms with carob honey and lamb! The atmosphere here is friendly and welcome so don't hesitate to have a nice dinner with a sea view and Greek cuisine ❤️(photo: pork stuffed with tomatoes and feta)

This is a lovely decorated restaurant,modern and lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. The food was good however we were expecting something different, I would say it's good quality and tasty but felt many other restaurants in the area served just as creatively.

They come keeping back for them from far! Thinly sliced ham, Gouda, fresh home made Tuna salad (our signature sandwich) 15 Different Toasties, well cooked, spicy ones too! Healthy fresh made smoothies from all kind of fruits and Nespresso coffee. (What else?) The best milkshakes in the world, thick and creamy full of ice cream. All available to take away to the beach..airport..excursion. At night a cozy candlelit bar.We have a beautiful place oppsite at the sea, look out for the bright red umbrella! Fantastic view over the Mirabello Bay. Professional cocktails. Long-drinks made with only the best brands and freshly opened bottles refreshments we have a terras A beautiful vieuw.Very fast WIFI! A happy, friendly place. 19 Years this summer!

A number of years ago we found this lovely cafe and every year we visited Crete and went to the cafe for a huge welcome back. This year returning after a big gap we went to Toedledokie and received the same welcome. What a wonderful place. Hopefully we are returning next year and will be able to visit once again.

Couldn't resit going three days in a row. The sorbet flavours are delicious, pineapple, melon and mango were my go to. The staff are friendly and the location gives you a perfect view of the lake. The sorbet cocktails were a hit.

Saw recommendations for this place on Tripadvisor, then were recommended by the place we were staying, so we tried it...and went back again before we came home. Good advice to look out for the bright blue, red, green and yellow chairs and tables for Karnagio, as the restaurant names here are not always easy to read, many being in Greek! Positioned on the 'patio' corner of the inland lake in Agios, on a raised area, customers can enjoy the view al fresco but under cover while eating delicious local cuisine. Huge portions (as others reported) so go there hungry! Other advice...arrive early - it opens at 12 noon - as it was pretty full by 1pm and that was the end of October, which is pretty much the end of the season here.
