Newly refurbished village inn, in a the beautiful village of Rockingham. Extensive range of wine and drinks including some local ales. Wide variety of home cooked food .
Our meal, after a long traumatic, day was spoilt by the behaviour of a group of people holding a birthday gathering. The party had brought their children along, and they were allowed to run free around our part of the restaurant, with no intervention from the parents, or more significantly from the Sondes management. I complained when paying the bill, as we had been surrounded by children of mixed ages, who swarmed around our table whilst we were eating. No compensation or apology was offered, only a half hearted " we should have let the group have the whole of the area in question.

The Hatton Arms is an old pub nestled in the Welland Valley. Beautiful beams and small rooms add to it's charm and welcoming nature. With fantastic views over the Welland Valley this is a charming place to spend your time. We hope you will join us soon.
Called here yesterday for our sunday lunch. It is a really friendly place to go and dogs are aloud in the bar area or on the patio. The welcome was great with swift service, I had the chicken and my wife had the roast beef. It was tasty, well presented, hot and of high quality with no complaints at all. The establishment is clean and a nice place to be. Thanks for a great experience,(Millie enjoyed her first visit to a pub!!)

Established in 1979, the Royal Tandoori Indian Restaurant & Takeaway is the oldest Indian takeaway in Northamptonshire.August 16th 2006 saw us extend and open a new high class 100 seater contemporary restaurant to complement our takeaway.Specialising in 'contemporary' Indian cuisine, we offer an extensive range of dishes to suit everybody including our hugely popular 'Bangladeshi Dishes'. So whether your favourite is our traditional Rogan-Josh or a mild Buttered Chicken, or perhaps a Chicken Rajkumari, you are sure to be impressed with our class, professionalism, and excellent contemporary cuisine.
Tried a few other local Indians and none compare to royal tandoori. Consistently good every time with takeaways and visited for a birthday meal and service and food was brilliant. Everyone was happy and full and price was really reasonable. If you want an Indian takeaway or meal this is the best place to get it.

Enjoyed my visit to this restaurant as someone from out of town it always makes me wish my home town of Stafford had a similar quality establishment.
Friendly and efficient service from the three girls working that particular night, nothing was too much trouble and it was all done without being overbearing or intrusive.
Quality of food was first class from the spare ribs in BBQ sauce to the duck in black bean.
Will definitely visit again, unfortunately it will be in twelve months time when next in the area.

Visited this restaurant for the first time as we love Italian food. However, after a while you did not get an Italian feel from the food or being in this place. The service was fairly prompt and we were given plenty of time to choose our dishes. The staff were very courteous and helpful when we changed some of our requests. Some of us opted for the bruschetta which was rather disappointing as the bread was very thinly sliced with pale almost tasteless tomatoes on top. There was no real flavour to this and needed some garlic, herbs or some other seasoning to give it an Italian feel? The calamari looked very thin and again rather tasteless. The main meal made up for the earlier disappointments and the Salmon was excellent as well as the steak. Again, there was no Italian feel / flavour to the meals although they were all eaten. The drinks were reasonably priced for restaurants but no tap water was offered or provided in spite of being requested|? We were charged for still water which I felt slightly miffed by this and as such declined the usual tip.

This a fabulous little restaurant where you are always greeted with a friendly smile and looked after throughout your meal. I have been here a couple of times now and have always enjoyed my meal. The menu is extensive and also offers lunchtime / early evening specials as well as smaller portions

It was Samuel Lloyd who began the transformation of Corby, from a sleepy village in Rockingham Forest into a modern, industrial town. Stewart & Lloyds (the successor to Lloyds Ironstone Company) built many of the houses, as well as the school and sports ground in the vicinity of the Wetherspoon pub.The original village of Corby gets its name from 'Kori', the leader of the Danish invaders who settled in a Rockingham Forest clearing. Corby remained a village until the arrival of Samuel Lloyd, in the 1880s, when the new ironstone industry developed to dominate life in Corby, until the closure of the iron and steelworks in 1980.This wetherspoon, opened in July 2008, is completely new and is a gas-free site, it has an extrodinary design to traditional pubs to mark both its individuality, and to tie in with the concept of glass use in the building of some of corbys' landmark sites (cube/swimming pool)
myself and my wife have been in here on quiet times and very busy times, and have never had a bad thing to say about this place. Food is always brought out at very quick times! bar staff serve you quick, servers are very professional...MoreThank you for reviewing'The Samuel Lloyd'. We really appreciate your review and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Nice hot chocolate and fresh juices, good paninnis and really affordable prices. I heard some rumours that in the past they had on the window that they don't allow english people inside because the owner is not british but I know what are rumours like so I can't say anything about it.
