It has been promoted for rowing.
Also needs to be appreciated for the MARVEL IT IS.
YOU DONT REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TIL YOU LOOK ON MAP.
I USED TO GO TO end of Aqueduct Street, years ago when staying with parents.
There was fence there. I would sit on it at night.
INCREDIBLE. GORGEOUS.

My little guy came home covered in mud and mosquito bites and he loved every single minute of it!
They are small groups of kids and highly attentive and experienced camp leaders so you don't need to worry about safety or a teenager misplacing your child!
Can't say enough.

Three magnificent falls, two American and one Canadian, mark the point at which the Niagara River rumbles over the Niagara Escarpment.
Always a Treat and a Wonder to see whenever we visit the region. It is always a different experience in each of the 4 seasons. The lights at night are fun to see as well. The power of nature at its best!

It is a great place to take little ones for walk, picnic and nice afternoon out. There are trails and walkways. To bad they paved, as harder on joints, but nice place to spend quiet time. Benches available, you can walk sit, talk. Lot of people jog.walk, inline skate.

I liked this park. It has a beautiful lake with willows. I stood here taking it all in. Amazing!
Most people come here for swimming lessons. Others come for the amazing playground.
There is also a baseball field. All well maintained.
Kids like to come at this park. They feel they are never bored here.
To anyone, this park is very attractive and worthwhile to see!

Historical Bridge 13 was constructed in Bridge 13 between 1927 and 1930. It was a lift bridge that allowed ships to pass through. Following the closure of the canal at the end of the 1972 shipping season, Bridge 13 was locked permanently in the lowered position. On July 1st, 2015 Bridge 13 lit up in its new LED colour changing lights.
Although the bridge no longer serves the canal, that is to lift the road to allow ships to pass, it is still a useful bridge and landmark in the middle of the town. The added lights provide a wonderful view from miles away, nice touch. The bridge has a commanding presence and draws people to the canal with its height.

Saturday mornings in Welland, always fresh produce, eggs, meats and much more. Try a McWeenie Gourmet Hot Dog, add a cold drink or delicious soft pretzel with honey mustard. Something for everyone. Runs 6 am to noon all year. Come visit and enjoy the sites, smells, and deals of the season!

I take my grand children here all the time. I like the rose garden, they love the pond with Fountain and ducks. There are two playground activity areas with swings, slides and climbing structures they love. Even just playing in the soft and clean sand at the volleyball nets keeps them entertained.
The grounds are well kept and tidy. It is safe and fun. There are large trees for shade. There are large covered picnic buildings with many picnic tables for big gatherings.
NOTE; DO NOT FEED DUCKS BREAD, it's not good for them or the fish. Check better options online please.

What an unexpected delight!!! It's very small and rather intimate, but the wide variety of brews coupled with great service in a convenient and tucked away location made for a great night out. Whether intentional or not, it felt as if we were in a prohibition era speakeasy. Very cool.

We visited this Centre over the weekend while our son was competing in the Canadian Dragonboat Championships. We have been here before and improvements have been made since our last visit. They now have flush public bathrooms instead of porta potties and they have improved the parking to gravel so it is not the mud field it was last time. This is a great spot to watch races, though there is not any shade until after noon so take your sunscreen or umbrella it the day is hot and sunny.
