If you can get a table overlooking the beach, it's especially nice. Service is good, and it's really nice to have pretty cotton serviettes and table cloths. Friends tried to seafood pasta which looked really good, and they said was excellent, but we stuck to Indian dishes. They make really great parathas in the tandoor, as well as other breads. There are plenty of very reasonably priced Indian dishes. Seafood is more expensive, but really good. Beers are cold, and there is a good selection of cocktails.

This place is run by an Italian family and as one would expect they serve a simple menu of Pizzas and Pasta with a number of options to explore. Pick the one that'll excite your taste buds. The owners of the restaurant were very kind to open the kitchen for some additional time to take our order, since we arrived quite late. The preparation, the aroma and the taste are authentic.
Palolem beach deserves a repeat visit and so do this place.
Do note that like many other places in Goa, they don't accept cards, but only cash and paytm.

Located in a quite coconut grove just 20m from the seashore behind Rococo Pelton at the southern end of Palolem beach, Ourem 88 is a small home style European restaurant set in the courtyard of our home. At Ourem 88 we endeavour to use the freshest, locally sourced seasonal produce & a variety of speciality imported produce fused with a western style of cooking to give you a tasty vibrant menu in relaxed & friendly surroundings. Our small evening bistro menu changes regularly according to seasonal availability in the market to ensure a new & exciting experience on every visit. Being a small restaurant which serves fresh home cooked food, which prides itself on quality & customer satisfaction, we are limited to the amount of tables we are able to serve in an evening. Larger tables are recommended to call in advance to check availability, Last Orders are taken at 9pm. The restaurant can also be reached via the Ourem 88 just beside Akash Travels.
We were fortunate to eat here twice during our holiday, I had booked one of the meals in November. Booking is essential as they only serve 20 people per night, and we saw a few people disappointed that they were unable to get a table.
On both occasions the food was exceptional. The portion size was very generous. We both had starters and mains on the first visit, so unfortunately didn’t have room for pudding. On the second occasion we shared a starter and pudding.
Brett made a perfect host.

The best place along this stretch, for sure the cleanest in presentation. First time I’ve actually had a linen serviette too. Quality food, good prices and fast services. The live music tonight was excellent too a great guitarist and pianist. A shame the kitchen shut at 10.20 as may have ordered dessert.

We went to this venue several times & enjoyed the hospitality, along with generally good food. But the big let down was the bakery side of things - we tried several of the cakes over 3 days on on each occasion they were dry or stale. If the bakery products were improved this venue would get 5 starts from me because it was otherwise delightful.

Vegetarian and vegan café, serving healthy breakfast, brunch & lunch. Try our scrumptious (vegan) cakes. Plus: We've recently started serving delicious and wholesome dinners, with lots of creative vegan and vegetarian dishes. Besides that we have our own onsight bakery where you can buy all your little world goodies, cakes, quiches, muesli, bread and preservatives. Come and check out our quirky indoor sitting area, and the large outdoor garden, totally transformed into a play area and bohemian vibe outdoor restaurant.
It's a nice vegetarian place on the main road to Palolem beach, with great varieties and pocket friendly prices. We visited for a breakfast and returned impressed and satisfied.
The interiors are done very colourfully and the presence of a Ganesh idol at the main entry was really attractive. The Seating arrangements were also very cute with fruits shaped cushions and tempo tables etc.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Great fresh food, bit overpriced, but standard Goa.. Was good, nice to get off the main busy strip, bit of a walk from town, probably would reccomend taking a scooter rather than walking

Returning to Goa this year meant 2 return trips to April 20. The food was as good as ever, go for the tandoori catch of the day- particularly the king fish or river prawns which are priced differently per day so ask before you order. They will be more than happy to show you before you decide!
Only annoying thing is the Indian obsession with rattan furniture which means you cannot sit at the table comfortably as it all too low!

I've been in Palolem four days. After trying a few places I chose Cafe Rumba as my favourite one. Wide variety of food (Indian, Nepali, Thai, Chinesse... and a bit of western with a twist)
The staff is great, kitchen and waiters are attentive and very friendly, specially Justin who was really helpful recommending me options from the menu and telling me tips to use in Palolem.
The offer a fresh fish, I could not regret it being in Goa, so I went for a tandoori Red Snapper... OMG... I don't need to be more descriptive about it...
So If you come to visit Palolem... You should not avoid this place
PS: Try spinach and cheese momos... literally heaven
