Goa Jungle Adventure organizes canyoning (outdoor extreme sport, not a safari or sightseeing) tours in the jungle of Goa for both beginners and experts. Canyoning basically includes trekking, abseiling, cliff jumping, swimming and walking through river gorge. A minimum jumping ability (from cliff to deep natural pool) and good swimming skills is required. The trip starts in Palolem (South Goa - Margao 1 hour, Panjim 2 hours, Calangute/Baga 2 hours 30 by road). The participant has to be in good health (fit for outdoor sport activities and not overweight bmi <29 ).
This is an exciting activity in beautiful, isolated surroundings, run by a well trained & organised group. There are different grades for different levels of experience. Reasonable fitness is necessary, and confidence in water.
We followed the course of a young river down the rocks, sometimes wading, sometimes half swimming, sometimes abseiling, and sometimes jumping into the pools - maybe 3, 6 or more metre jumps (if you dipped out of a jump, there is assistance to help you down). Wetsuits, harnesses for abseiling, & hardhats provided.
Was a memorable day, with a small group of 7, and 3 leaders (I think 1 of these was training).

I had heard about Cola beach over breakfast in my hotel. I decided to investigate it was a 500 r trip from Patnem in the tuk tuk for about 25 mins. The road to the beach is really rocky but sort of fun. Maybe not if you have terrible lower back pain. The tuk tuk drivers call it 'Massage Road'.
The beach itself is stunning and incredibly clean and easily mistaken for the Caribbean.
There is the issue of the 'private beach' thing mentioned in other reviews- for drinks and sunbeds- so if you are willing to use your towel and not eat a lunch here the atmosphere is worth giving up so called tourist comforts!
The sea is quite tricky to navigate so only swim between the flags. There is the fresh water lake as an option for swimming or kayaking too.
I don't know if its called Cola Beach because an aerial view shows dark and light sand like a coke in a glass or because its the local name. You decide

The place is a bit tired ,broken sunloungers and curtains that dont fit,but most of all a restaurant with terrible service where, what should take 20 minutes can take 90 minutes and is then overcooked, and some how tepid at best at worst cold. The best ,was the lady receptionist who was super helpful and careing, the Manager struggled, but tried to run the place but overall the other staff were hopeless.

One of the area's most picturesque Beaches.
If you are staying in South Goa and near Palolem beach then it’s worth visiting. There are many restaurants on the beach, It’s very lively in comparison to other Beaches. Lots of indian and foreign tourists.
If you want something more peaceful then go to Patnem (next one. Walking distance). But Palolem is nice to visit, go for a walk there or to have dinner on the beach during sunset.

The Beaches in Goa are really crowded and not worth the effort to spend a lazy afternoon. The Turtle Beach also known as Galgibaga Beach is one of those exquisite gems that is now getting noticed.
This was my second visit from last year. Santosh Beach Shack is the best one to dine in. The sea food especially Crabs are a must have. If you can do let them know you are arriving and how many people are there. The crabs get over in a giffy.
The beach is quaint and clean. The waves are just perfect if you want to just float around and enjoy the peace and quiet.
As its a nature conservation site, the beach is pretty restricted. The highlight are the turtles lay their eggs on the shore, which are clearly marked.
The highway is being constructed and I do hope it won't destroy the habitat for these gorgeous creatures that thrive.

Our centre is a unique place where you can experience the best of ancient Indian traditions - Yoga, meditation, yoga therapy and Ayurveda - in an amazing location on the Patnem beach side. We invite you to come and experience, rejuvenate, heal and transform your body and mind with Yoga (Harmony of Body Mind & Soul) and Ayurveda (The science of life)
Wonderfull surrounding and treatments. The Ayurveda Brothers take care of their clients with much love and humour. Good and healthy indian food (kerala style) is provided.
The pancha karma treatment helped me so much. The 14 days was a lifechanging event for me.
Highly recommendet for people who suffer from stress, addictions or other „western diseases“.

Traditional Indian dishes include a wide range of tastes and offers more healthy food. In addition, traditional Indian cuisine is called for fresh food items with minimum preservatives, compared to typical American fare, it can be very healthy because your body comes in contact with less additive for ingredients.
So interesting, so tasty! All recepies are very easy to cook at home.. no fancy ingredients but full taste. The best was, that you learn a lot about cooking-techniques that give your homecooked meal that indian flavour. Recommend!Dear Guest. Thank you for taking the time to review us, Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Regards, Ashish
