The restaurant of Attila Molnár and Szása Nyíri is waiting for their guests for more than 20 years already.Arany Kaviár is considered one of the best fine dining restaurants. They improve Russian cuisine. They prepare traditional dishes with contemporary methods, the way we like them. For five years the restaurant is recommended by the Michelin guide.Accordingly, one of the cornerstones of the menu is the “Traditional Russian cuisine”, the true and worthy representatives of the classic cuisine of the court of the Czars. The dishes are based on traditional Russian recipes, preserving their authentic feel, but are prepared with modern techniques and ingredients. The dishes are not reinvented, but improved. The other pillar of the menu is the wide selection of marine and Freshwater “Fish dishes”, and their diverse compilations. The premium quality and year-round availability of domestic fishes are guaranteed by our close cooperation with fisheries; and our carefully selected seafood is supplied by the fish market of Strasbourg. The third and most important pillar of the menu is the “Caviar Gourmet Menu”, and the Caviar Card, listing the caviars produced and distributed by the restaurant and the dishes prepared with them, thus demonstrating the versatility of the culinary utilization of caviar. The Arany Kaviár Gourmet Selection has represented and conveyed the philosophy and values of the restaurant within and outside its walls. The “Hungarian caviar” successfully debuted on the international market in 2011. On the largest and most prestigious hospitality exhibition, the SIRHA in Lyon, world-renowned chefs sampled Arany Kaviár’s product.
We dined at this magnificent restaurant at the start of our visit to Budapest. We were warmly greeted on our arrival and shown to our lovely table. The interior décor of this restaurant is rather lovely. After dining here, we were impressed by the quality of the food we had. The caviars were absolutely delicious, every mouthful was like a taste of paradise. The food was of a first class, as everything was seasoned beautifully to give amazingly fresh, delicious, natural flavours. The ingredients used tasting so fresh, there was a feeling of Eastern Europe was in our mouths. The tastes and flavours were sensational and natural. My wife enjoyed her fish dish, tasting so fresh and authentic in it's flavours, it felt as though it was a catch of the day, seasoned, cooked and served direct to her plate. The wines accompanying our meals were of a very good quality. The service was great with wonderful waiting staff. All in all it was a perfect start to our visit to Budapest, and we left extremely happy with our dining experience here, which was like a one night in heaven.

Baraka is a fine dining restaurant creating gourmet Euro-Asian dishes located in the beautiful Palazzo Dorottya very close to Vörösmarty Square. Our cocktail bar serves Asian accented cocktails in an informal atmosphere.
Perfect restaurant, staff were perfect from the moment we walked through the door. The food was certainly worthy of a Michelin star and u would be surprised if they weren't awarded one. The taster menu was just wonderful, so many courses and each one perfect as was the wine

Comme Chez Soi is an Traditional Italian restaurant.Goose liver specialities.Serving Italian and Hungarian dishes following family's recipes.
If you see 4500+ rave reviews of a place, you know it’s gonna hit the right spot!! And it did!!! I’ll add that this was by far the best meal we had in Budapest. The food, service, freebies, wine, dessert wine, dessert and chef Roberto himself- everything is 100% outstanding. We were lucky we went for an early dinner at 6pm and got a table, else people book MUCH in advance. Towards the end of our meal, we saw most people being turned down at the door. Coming to the food- we had the pasta trio which was delicious. All the 3 types of pasta were excellent. We were also given bread and a tomato mozzarella and ham antipasti (complimentary) to go with our glasses of red wine. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, which was HUGE And SO DELICIOUS, knowing little that they serve a lemon sorbet and chocolate alongside Hungarian sweet wine - also complimentary!! Wow!! But we thoroughly enjoyed our tiramisu nevertheless. Pls note that they charge 1100 forint as service charge, but you get more than your money’s worth. The service was awesome and so was the cozy ambience. The restaurant is a little small and tight but you’ll manage fine. I don’t know how much more to recommend this place. It’s probably one of the more memorable meals I’ve ever had while travelling. Pls pls pls go here. You’ll definitely be happy :)

Staying in the Holiday Inn Budaors and decided to eat locally rather than the hotel.
Checked Trip Advisor and Restaurant Aromi had good reviews and was only .6km away.
First impressions was great, a lovely looking restaurant in a picturesque little town. Got parking at the door. As we entered it looked busy.
We were greeted and seated promptly by friendly staff. The menu had a great variety of options. I had bruschetta for starter and it was first class followed by duck breast in orange sauce with rice which was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. My wife had a chicken dish which she enjoyed and my daughter had salmon with grilled vegetables and again she loved her dish.
They had some nice wine by the glass alas as the driver I had to make do with bottled water.
Then for dessert we had tiramisu and it was just superb followed by lovely strong Americano coffee. The dining room is cosy and comfortable and the serving staff are great. This is probably the best family restaurant I have visited anywhere in our travels and it cost just over 21,000Ft about €73

In business for over 10 years, Walzer Café is an independent courtyard cafe located inside a 700 year old building in the heart of Budapest's historic Castle district. There is no shortage of cafes in the Castle but if you are looking for something off the beaten path with a quiet intimate setting then look no further than Walzer! We encourage you to come & get off your feet, get together with friends, catch up on Reading, or even strike up a conversation with a local regular during your stay in our lovely city. At Walzer Café, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service & one of the best cups of coffee this side of the Danube. You can find us down the street from Matthias Church & the Hilton Hotel, as you head towards the Vienna Gate (Bécsi Kapu). We look forward to welcoming you!

We were here for a business lunch, it was a quite good place in Budaors, nice environment and traditional decoration. The staff was very friendly and served us very well. The chicken soup was so so but the goose leg was quite good. We had a good time here.

Kurtoskalacs is one of the most popular pastries in Hungary and Transylvania. It is made from sweet, yeast dough (raised dough), of which a strip is spun and then wrapped around a cylindrical baking spit, and rolled in granulated sugar. It is baked until its surface gets a golden-brown color. During the baking process the sugar stuck on kurtoskalacs becomes caramel and forms shiny, crispy crust on the cake. The traditional version is served only with caramelised sugar or walnut, but we provide it also with additonal flavours such as coconut, cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate. It is a must if you visit Hungary/Budapest! :)

Cakes to die for... Fabulous ice cream and cake selection, marzipans. Staff was very friendly. Coffee needs improvement, but it was not bad. We will return for sure!

Da Caterina offers very good, crispy authentic Italian pizza. It is also a good option for a sit down meal, or take away. I often order pizza from them to my office which is a 15 min. drive from them. Quality is always good, never a let-down. I highly recommend them if you like thin, crusty pizza.
