I love potatoes, so this was perfect for me. The place it self is quite oldschool but the staff is nice and helpful. Some portions are large and others are small - ask, or just go for the 'Bauernfrühstück' - very nice! Good selection of beers.

Our hotelier recommended we walk here for dinner through town, and it was a brilliant recommendation. Wide selection of different fish dishes with some excellent wine choices, too. And then the view out over the Havel, which flows around the whole old part of town. Very beautiful. Friendly service and an affordable and very pleasant meal. Highly recommended.

Visited one evening in late April. It was too cold to sit outside in the excellent Gardens by the river - but indoors the restaurant was comfortable with a great atmosphere. The menu is quite short - and very German. Lots of meat & potatoes - but please do not ignore the fish options. The herring was superb. The staff were happy to mix/match items from the menu to prepare a meal for the vegetarian in our party.

German Brewpub
Have to go here every time we visit Germany. Amazing food Great Beers. Home cooked German food for very reasonable prices. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

I had Zanderfilet with mushrooms "Pfefferlinge". Absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very busy on the Friday evening and we had to wait for our food. But it was definitely worse and fresh cooked.

Working in the region, we went there several times and we never were disappointed. Italian family operating as well in kitchen as in restaurant, they are offering genuine italian food and preparation. Nice welcoming, prices in the average, nice place, balcony over the river, the only "black" point are...... the stairs, that restrict certainly the access to the restaurant. I recommend the place.

We went several times to this small family owned restaurant. The service is very friendly and the food is 'new' german kitchen. Everything we had was perfect in the details: pasta was 'al dente', vegetables NOT overcooked; sauce good tasting. Fantastic combinations from regional and seasonal ingredients.
They have a small garden. Inside has round about 6 tables. Located in an old house at the orl town, the interior is pure with white talbelinnen and chandeliers. Wooden raw balks from the old ceiling are visible.

I had the chicken tikka and it was very delicious! The chicken was so soft and full of taste, highly recommebdable! They have a good choice of vegetarian dishes as well as a good selection of cocktails. The outside Seating is very scenic, next to the river. We also liked the very friendly staff! And they also offer an english menu. We were just on a short visit otherwise i would go again and again and again!

A realy good restaurant! Delicious dishes, prepared with care and eye for details.
We chose the menu with 4 courses (out of 6) and had a good time. The cheese platter was the best I ever had, not standard at all but each of the cheeses used and prepared specially. Good job!
We were the only guests this evening, but the team was deducated as if all tables were full.
