The young lady who served us was very kind and professional, in spite the fact that we were just asking for kids menu for our daughter. Beautiful view from the winter-garden.Thank you for your excellent Rating. We are very glad! We are happy about a recommendation!! Family Hasler and Team

Trattlers Einkehr is a Chalet-Restaurant in the valley of Bad Kleinkirchheim offering an authentic Austrian atmosphere. The weekly programme includes live-music, barbeques, torch-light-walks and wine tastings. You can also book the chalet with a horse carriage or horse sleigh. Its cuisine is mainly Austrian using only regional produce from Carinthia and Austria. Specialties are dry-aged beef from Austrian beef, Carinthian pasta dishes and sweet-water fish from the nearby pond (trouts). For comfort food there is also a good Pizza offering. The place is also perfect for small groups and special occassions. Health & Spirit. Trattlers Hofteam
The food was great, but the service was quite slow. There was live entertainment and was very family friendly. Traditional and I would recommend it.

We eat here every time we visit BKK. Consistently good quality. The steaks (with horseradish sauce) are good as are the pizzas (the Styria) being personal favourites.
Be careful though with cost as VAT is added onto the final bill. Good ambience and service, clean with good food. Recommended.

It is situated in the same street as Die Post hotel in Dorfstrasse, few dosen meters further from the hotel. Friendly staff, warm welcome, great "gern cnödel" with poppy seeds and vanila cream. Nice choice of daily meals and sweets. 50 mtr from Kaiserburgbahn ski lift and village spa and swiming pool. Recomandation.

The authentic farmer's parlour "Loystubn" has received an international award for its outstanding cuisine and welcomes you in rustic-homely and stylish ambience. Spend a romantic evening dining with your partner or celebrate with your colleagues! Embark on a journey through the varied secrets of Austrian cuisine! The outstanding culinary offering at the "Loy-Stubn" restaurant is only exceeded by the attentive service of the staff, the unique atmosphere and the romantic traditional ambience. A special tip from the Pulverer family: Ask for a good wine from the richly-stocked wine cellar of Hotel Pulverer. Freshly prepared delicacies from this sophisticated cuisine are enjoyed twice as much with the right drop of wine to accompany your food.
We had hoped to stay at this hotel, but rooms weren't available. Had read about the restaurant and made lunch restaurants as we were going through Bad Kleinkirchheim on our way to Worthersee. The ambiance in the 400-year old bulding was lovely with white tableclothes, candles at every table, and the very kind, lovely waitress in traditional costume. The food was beautifully presented - the special "dumplings" stuffed with onion, potato and quark in a brown butter sauce were unusual and tasty, but a bit too rich for a full meal. My husband had the most delicious wienerschnitzel of our 6-weeks in Europe. Flaky, light crust and tender, flavorful meat. There was nothing we could find fault with. A pleasure we hope to enjoy again one day.

I had heard of this restaurant from my ski instructor who is from nearby Radenthein. This restaurant humbly quotes "best chicken place in town", and another Tripadvisor comment quoted "Best chicken place in Austria". Therefore, we came to this restaurant with high expectations.
The setting is humble, a quaint design, although boasting a beautiful Terrace overlooking the valley.
The menu is interesting, quite creative, and stands out from other restaurants in the area. Mainly chicken based, although also caters for vegetarians (see picture of Veggie Chimichanga).
I live in Hong Kong, and came to Radenthein on holiday, and I was 100% impressed. The chicken (free range) was sublime. I had the house special fried chicken while my dad had the chicken breast (my mother is vegetarian and had the Veggie Chimichanga). The meat was tender and tasty - really blows away any fried chicken I had before.
I highly recommend this place. It is simple, although maintains good quality. It is VERY popular, so make sure you book in advance! If possible, book a table on the Terrace.
3 people: 1 mixed salad to share, 1 fried chicken, 1 grilled chicken breast, 1 veggie chimichanga, 2 desserts, sparkling water, red wine ==> EUR 65.

We spent nice evening in that restaurant. We ordered different kinds of pizza. Also local beer and very tasty red wine.
They have got wide range of wines.
I can also recommend good spaghetti frutti di mare.
Prices are on good level, 4 adults and 3 children with drinks included bill was 90 euro.
Stuff proffesional and friendly.
I will come back next time.

In Winter 2009, old roots were revived – with the new Unterwirt Hüttn our dream came true: to have “an old hut” at Maibrunn-Abfahrt (Maibrunn slope)... from the slope to the bar or sitting inside where it’s warm! Based on traditional models, it took a lot of detailed and affectionate work to build the hut from old timber in line with traditional models – but the dream shaped up gradually... and it was worth the effort! “Let’s get ready for action!“ In the family-run business, they all roll up their sleeves to get the work done – and you can feel the result! This is way you can sit in the cosy and traditional Hüttn atmosphere or in the classy “Stüberl” (snuggery) and enjoy Carinthian delicaciesdirect from the farm or the region.
Oh how I love skiing in Austria - so much better, friendlier and cheaper than France. This place sums up the difference. Helpful, quick, efficient and friendly staff who are very welcoming. Great and well priced food. Fabulous atmosphere. We stopped here a few times for food and drink. Great spot and right on the piste.

Alpine lodge with sun Terrace, service, delicious Carinthian food The Strohsackhütte is a popular ski lodge at the valley station for the Strohsack lift, just a few metres away from the Kaiserburg intermediate station. Here skiers and winter hikers get to enjoy a break on the sun Terrace, in the very special 'beach chairs' in the VIP lounge. Hotel Almrausch hotel guests get a 20 % discount on the price of the dish of the day!
This hut is situated in very good location, right next to the lift, and all the day as you are skiing you can smell the food from there. Finally when we came in for lunch, hut was nice and warm. The food was even better than the atmosphere. I strongly recommend gulash soup. We didn't wait long for food even though the place was packed with people.
So thanks for food and friendly behavior there! Keep it up! :)

Restaurant is a huge glass box with inner decorations, pointed red. It is nice that you don't have just wooden huts all the time. They can host more than 100 people inside and some dozens outside (when it is sunny and not windy). They don’t have wide range of food but what you order is tasty and fresh. Prices are little higher than in the lower village. Service – five women and their superior are very prompt. Men admire nice Nina at the bar and drink a beer or two more. Good place for a short break or for hungry skiers. Restaurant is also good for families. Germknoedl is interesting.
