We sat on the roof Terrace, arrived around 8.30pm. Lady gave us menus and explained the specials. Food and wine came quite quickly; a great Greek salad, chicken in feta and sauce, and keftedes. Plus a litre of house red, bread and water. The food was just excellent, full of flavours. Trouble was, we were then left to fester for an hour with empty plates, and no checking if we wanted anything else. By the time we managed to attract someone's attention, we'd lost any further appetite and just paid and left. Bill was only around €30, so it was good value, but they desperately need more waiting staff; we felt ignored and invisible once they'd delivered the food. So really good food, but really poor service. Hence the 3* rating. Shame.

I have been travelling Greece for a while now, and i have had the best, freshest, and most authentic food here. The staff is friendly and professional. The view from the restaurant is unlike any i have seen before i would recomend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful part of Greece

I had an Ice Cream Sundae here beginning of September 16 and it was delicious. The views into the sea were totally idyllic. The ice-cream it;s self was very nice after a very busy day exploring some of the island and Kayaking over to some of the smaller Beaches.

You will find Amorgialos at the end of the jetty to your left as you disembark from your ship as you arrive in the Port of Aegiali. We open everyday til late in the night from Greek Easter throughout the summer months until the end of September.
The menu here changes every day to reflect what's available. We ate here twice and each time we had something new which we'd not eaten elsewhere in Greece. Stand out dishes were the grilled calamari, the potato salad and a beetroot and orange salad, but everything was really delicious.
It gets busy and they put tables on the harbour edge; I'd eat here if it was the only way of getting a table!

This is an unpretentious restaurant serving mostly traditional food. Our waiter Stephan was good. We shared a pureed garlic appetizer which was ok and grilled eggplant which was excellent. My patatate, lamb stewed with potatoes and tomatoes, was very tender and tasty, but had more bone than meat. The eggplant casserole was tasty, and the pizza had much more dough than cheese. The house retsina was a bit unusual and not as piney as most. Prices were very reasonable.

Mrs Evdokia and the friendly staff welcome you in the Askas tavern that is part of the family business Askas Pension and Aegiali Camping. Our tavern is located in an environment surrounded by lush green trees and vines. There you can find tradition and good food
again yet an other greek taverna serving the same food as else where. The food isn't bad but there isn't any difference to other places so if you are not staying at the camp site or their rooms its not worth the walk to go here.

The old man who must have be in his late 80s and probably set up this Resturant was fusing over all his guests going from table to table and talking to everyone. It was a real family affair and it was either his granddaughter or great-granddaughter who served us. She was extremely friendly. The food was nothing special but at the same time very special. Simple home cooked food. Simple traditional dishes cooked beautifully. Food that takes you back to your childhood. No fancy presentation. No pretentiousness. We will definitely go back if we make it back to Amorgos.

Located on Aegiali, the main beach of Amorgos island, "Nissi" is an all day spot for Coffee, Snacks, Drinks and great Food.
This is a very lovely place to spend the day relaxing right next to the beautiful beach of Aegiali. Tasty drinks and good cheerful service combined with comfy lounge chairs in the shade.
I can't comment on the food because we couldn't stand to stay there more then a couple of hours because of the constant blare of a bad quality radio station playing through the loudspeakers. We came to Amorgos for the peace and quiet, to hear the waves, the birds etc. We really appreciated the many cafes and restaurants that played quieter Greek song or traditional music, or none at all. Honestly if not for this music, we probably would have eaten there a few times because the menu looked really good

We visited the restaurant after the beach. The view is stunning. We order just one salad, one watermelon and 2 drinks. After 20 minutes waiting, we asked what is going on with our order. The waiter asked sorry and he said he has forgotten our order and he will bring it immediately. We were waiting 20 extra minutes but nothing. We told him that we will leave since there is no meaning to wait for so long. His reply surprised us. He said : You are on holidays, why are u in a hurry? It is true. However I prefer to have at least my drinks earlier. There are so many other good options in Aigiali for food and drinks.

Fresh, handmade pastries, amorgian breakfast, ice-cream, coffee and drinks till late in the evening! Magnificent view of the island and relaxing atmosphere. Possible to order birthday cakes and pastries. Free Wi-Fi.
Wonderful desserts! Profiteroles are great, with lots of other desserts coming close up to it, both traditional (ekmek kutaifi was great!) and more modern ones. The best is that their desserts are too sweet, there is always a combination of tastes that makes it exciting. Beautiful view and they make great coffee.
