As an out-of-town factory shop place, this is a nice place for a walk. Clean toilets, some free wifi, but still the usual range of shops. A sale lost in the Lindt shop as the staff couldn't focus on serving.
Glad to get away.
Wont be back.

My friend and I decided to go visit Homburg, and explore the castle ruins on top of the hill. We then walked down, and entered the sandstone caves/mines. The castle ruins on top of the hill cover a large area, and are very interesting. One sad thing is that the locals have had problems with broken bottles, and trash scattered all over the area along with some graffiti. I still found the ruins very interesting, and enjoyed exploring the grounds.
We then went down to the caves which for €5 is a great bargain. In the old days they mined the caves for a special sand for making clear glass. It was lost for hundreds of years until it was uncovered by some playing children. I enjoyed the short tour we received, and the free time we were allowed to enjoy walking the rest of the caves.
Great outing if you are looking for some history, and the caves give you something different to checkout. I truly enjoyed them both, and will take others there.
Afterward we stopped at the hotel for coffee, and wine. The hotel has a great view of the city, and countryside so I thought that it was well worth the stop.

Beautiful Gardens and an amazing view of the town below. Unfortunately we were unable to get into the main church because there was a service going on, but the smaller chapel was beautiful. Food and beverage on site!

This museum consists of two parts: a museum with Exhibitions and a place where they found ruins of a settlement and re-built some buildings to show how this settlement used to look like.
One gets a really good impression on how it looked like back then. It is impressive to see what the Romans already had to make life more comfortable.
Certainly a good weather thing to do.

So gewinnt man treue Kunden.

This is one of those magical places that you wish would have existed "when we were kids!" It's amazing all the activities and fun that you can have, under one gigantic roof.
Although we rated this place as a 2-3 hour visit - you could easily spend more time here.
Catch a live hockey game - watch from the stands, or from within the enclosed restaurant, complete with huge picture windows. THANK YOU for having a very closed-off and sealed smoking area! It not only makes everyone's visit more pleasant - it's just safer.
The food and beverages are plentiful, and the Waitstaff delightful. When it comes to entertainment, you can't find a place that feels more "American" within a 50 kilometer radius.
There's a bowling alley, miniature golf course, and a crazy-cool Kid's Arena (which includes an 11 meter long Pirate Slide!). There are ball pits, trampolines, climbing towers, etc. Did I mention we wish we were kids again?! :-D
Needless to say, as with every German building and attraction, this place is put together in a clever and utilitarian manner. Although it is a massive indoor structure, each space feels comfortable and easy to navigate.
Consider going to one of their Ice Discos, or bring the kiddos in for Black Light Mini-Golf. No matter what you choose, you're sure to have a great time.
In case you're uncertain where to find World of Fun, it is located right off A-8 - next to the Outlet Malls.

The door was shut but opens so we were not sure to go in. Access is free but you can not take pictures without paying, and a very unhappy German speaking lady rebuked us for trying. Unfortunately there were no signs indicating the rules or restrictions.
Not a "must see" experience.
