Dinner for 3. Truffle fries were very good, Chicken Taco's good. Tuna Sandwich tuna was nice, but the bun was not very fresh. Had to ask 3 times to get mayo for my fries. were OK but nothing special. Tasted and felt like someone's frozen rather than fresh cut.
The service was Ok but not what one would expect given the prices charged.
Considering the prices, particularly the wine which I find somewhat overpriced for what it is, there appears to be more focus on sizzle than steak.

you get better customer service from hot dog stand than cactus club
I was reg customer until I saw the real face behind the nice building
dish washer / waitress promote to management / head office without a knowledge of customer care

I don't know why people lineup for Anton's. The food is okay at best, the servings are large but pasta is cheap so filling a bowl full of pasta doesn't seem like exceptional value. The servings are easily large enough for two people but the have a $12 per person minimum charge so it's not like you can share one dish.
They do have a great variety of pastas and it tastes fine and you do get lots of it but I wouldn't lineup for it.
The service is great, nice friendly staff that are willing to go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be.

This place is so mouth watering GOOD!
They have all you can eat which to be honest their fish is already nicely sized so you can’t eat much! Their fries are freshly made, and delicious. This place is a real cheat. Fresh, gets busy, delicious. I recommend this place to any fish and chips lovers! Great for families seniors singles and couples yum!

This Earl's features both indoor and patio dining. We sat outside and enjoyed a pleasant late summer dinner.
The menu has a wide variety of options. It could be described as up-scale pub food, or maybe as unprecocious great food or something. I had a chicken-brie-fig-balsamic Sandwich which combined the flavors of an upscale menu with the common man simplicity of a Sandwich with fries and a salad. Well done.
Service is remarkably fast. Pricing is reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful. They handle mid-to-large sized groups with ease.
Highy recommended.

I had the pleasure to experience several different venues at this restaurant, everything from lunch to high end weddings situated out doors backing onto deer lake. They also have excellent planned dinner events like New Years dinners, as well as other holiday meals when you don't feel like cooking at home.
I've been visiting this restaurant for several years.

We were greeted and seated at a window table (as we had requested) immediately upon arrival. Although the weather was miserable, the subdued lighting and warm ambiance inside made us feel warm and relaxed. We started with the seafood chowder; real quality soup with a good thick tomato body and lots of salmon and shrimp. My partner had the duck breast and remarked on its excellent taste. As I’ve always had outstanding fish at Horizons, I chose the alder smoked salmon and definitely was not disappointed. It was served on a bed of creamy mushroom risotto with fingerling carrots and asparagus. I decided finish dinner with the creme brûlée: rich in flavour but not as smooth in texture as I’ve had in many other places. Overall it was a delightful evening and we look forward to returning in the next few months.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner with friends here on a Thursday night. The place was very busy and there was virtually no parking left even though we had Reservations at an earlier hour.
The service was somewhat slow, likely due to how busy it was however there were a couple times we had to nab a server as they were going by to get replenish our drinks.
I would recommend this Keg, however if we were to go back, I would want to go when it is less busy and also select our Seating. I also found it to be very noisy.

We have wanted to try this restaurant out for some time now and finally had a chance. Very disappointed in the meals we both had. The schnitzel lacked seasoning, potatoes were cold, veggies not cooked enough but the red cabbage was good. The worst part of the evening though was the condition of the ladies rest room, no toilet paper or fresh towels from the dispenser. Would not come back

Was there the other night for a birthday dinner. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Presentation was lovely, food delicious, service wonderful...a perfect dining experience.
As ‘bread’ they served a brioche, and to finish off served miniature macarons that were not only cute as a button, but absolutely delicious.
I am gluten free and had lots of options open to me.
The Pear Tree is truly a very special restaurant and would highly recommend it.
