Very accommodating with booking, especially when wanted to add one other person!
Staff very friendly and efficient - obvious hard workers enjoying their work and responsibilities. Knowledgeable guides. Whangomomona hotel is olde world charm and comfort. Spectacular scenery on river trip back to Taumarunui. Food tasty and very ample.

Had a great day on the Wanganui river, this is a really nice, relaxed family who go out of their way to look after you. Highly recommend using them. We just did a day's canoeing, and that was probably enough for the family, it was a bit stressful at first, but we all ended up enjoying it. Stop off at the lavender farm, it's lovely there.

7 friends and a dog - in the rain! But we still did the timber trail and it was great! Thanks to Paul and his crew for organising the bikes and the transport - communication was good, bikes were totally fine as well! Any time again!

This is an absolutely beautiful spot, we wished we could buy the place and live there to be honest. The lavender was stunning, and it had a really nice, chilled out atmosphere there.

Nevalea Alpacas

Nevalea Alpacas, the largest alpaca farm in New Zealand, is home to over 700 friendly alpacas. We offer visitors ‘The Ultimate Alpaca Experience’ and have a range of different activities to choose from to give visitors an opportunity to get up close to the alpacas, hand feed them and feel just how soft and cuddly the alpacas are. We operate alpaca treks through the summer months, where visitors can walk an alpaca around the farm and see hundreds of alpaca come to greet them in the hills, spectacular views surrounded by alpacas. We also offer a shorter alpaca walk throughout the year as another option. We have new-born baby alpacas all year-round, and for a unique opportunity offer visitors the chance to have a cuddle with a baby alpaca. Great up close and personal experiences and chances for some amazing photos. See our website for all activity options and bookings.

The farm is just from the main road, and it's a great little stop when passing by. It was hard to miss because some of the alpacas are in the paddock by the road.
We fed the alpacas and patted them. The host knows a lot about the alpacas, so it was a very informative visit.
There is also a little shop where you can buy various knitwear and knitting yarn, all made from the local alpacas.

Bradley's Gardens was the stunning venue for a recent family wedding! The presentation of the Gardens was impeccable and the "rooms" formed perfect backdrops for the ceremony, refreshments, and activities, before assembling for dinner.
The owners attention to detail was amazing, providing a very high level of service that made the occasion unforgettable!
