Visited the library yesterday. Had a dekko of it . It's a functioning library . Many people of all age groups read there . Reading room was occupied mostly by the elderly people. There's separate hall for children. 90% books are in Gujrati but you can find Hindi & English popular books there . Upstairs has section of rare & reference books . You can take subscription for a year or six months for roughly 1300 rs where you can borrow 1book at a time.its visited by many locals & students take full advantage of this facility.

Gopi Talav is a lake in the Gopipura locality in Surat. It was built in circa 1510 CE by Malik Gopi, who was an affluent merchant and governor of Surat during the Mughal Empire. In 2012, the lake was renovated by Surat Municipal Corporation and the area surrounding it was redeveloped as a recreational facility.nice place to visit.

It's nice but they should improve it the parking is very far from the place and in monsoon season please do not park your vehicle at there it is the lowest area so all the water will stuck there and you need to face some difficulties with it and talking about stadium in that stadium there is very light water leakage from roof and now roof is open and you can see the steel structure I think they should cover it and make it great place
