As the French would say, Lourdes, c’est magnifique. Nestled in the southwestern Pyrénees, its status as a pilgrimage center was largely cemented by the sighting of the Virgin Mary at the The Grotto of Massabielle. The city abounds with religious activity, with opportunities to attend mass, say the Rosary as part of the daily Candlelight Procession, or visit holy sites like the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. The Cirque de Gavarnie offers opportunities to experience breathtaking mountain beauty, such as the tiered Gavarnie Falls.

I went to Le Magret as part of a tour group dinner. Didn’t know what to expect. I have rarely had a better evening or meal anywhere. Every course was fantastic. The duck was prepared “melt in your mouth” perfect. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was top notch. If you are in Lourdes, seek out Le Magret, you won't regret it.

Tastiest chicken in mushroom sauce I have ever eaten! Home cooking served in a few seconds for those in a hurry to get back to work. Each day delicious homemade food as well as excellent pizzas- a must! Staff efficient and friendly and they speak fluent french & english too. We go back regularly and the standard is always the same, tasty daily dishes And pizzas worth the detour. Forget about the tourist traps in downtown Lourdes, take a little walk up to the Epi d'Or and sit back, relax and savor the tasty food.

It is well worth stepping away from the touristy cafes near the grotto area for the pizza here. Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The calzone also looked amazing. Excellent atmosphere and great service. By the time we were leaving, the queue was out the door and up the street so be sure to go early if you want a table. Can't wait to visit again when we return to Lourdes!

We were looking for something to eat out of the centre of Lourdes and read the reviews for this place. We are so glad that we came here! Friendly, fantastic service and brilliant food. The value for money on the set menu was fantastic. The presentation excellent and traditional French food. Would highly recommend.

Location of casa italia is spot on, easy to find and central. The interiors are bright and spacious. This place gets busy. And as busy as it gets, service is quite slow and can use improvement. You need to literally dance and shout to often get the waiters attention. The pizza is good, delicious enough but nothing memorable for regular pizza places in Europe. Pricing is also okay. Sadly, The fish wasn't very fresh and needed lots of additional lemon to be edible. This place is just okay, was worth a try and if you stay in Lourdes long you will be bound to eat there just due to lack of choices and it's central location. If you are in Lourdes for a day, try da Marco if you are craving pizza.

A good restaurant is hard to find in Lourdes and though this one lists itself as a Pizzeria, it is where the locals eat. Located SW of the big market building.
Lourdes in early March can be cold and rainy. Le Palacio is one of the few (yes I mean few) restaurants that are open for dinner. If you go to Lourdes before the tourist season opens finding a local restaurant that's open can be a challenge. This one has atmosphere but isn't intimidating. The food is good and not too pricey. It's not a far walk from the grotto if you happen to be staying near there but it is up hill - then almost everything is from the grotto.

Elegance is the word of the day at 'Le Parc', the BEST WESTERN Beausejour Hotel restaurant. Its sand and claret-coloured table cloths, immaculate service, cuisine based on fresh local produce and its enormous picture windows overlooking the Pyrenees make it the place to be in Lourdes. The restaurant can also be converted into a seminar room for up to 45 participants. The Brasserie has a menu based on the restaurant menu and is reminiscent of the Modern Belle Epoque style with its plasterwork ceiling and brass chandeliers. The ambiance is chic and laid back. In the mornings, the breakfast buffet is served here. Weather permitting, lunch and dinner may be served on the Terrace, overlooking the Mountains.
We went there as we were staying at this hotel which is very nice and conveniently located. We had a very simple lunch with a Hamburger and a Beef Tartar with French fries and salad and some ice cream as desserts.
The service was excellent and friendly and the food very well prepared.
The view from the Terrace is fantastic and we enjoyed the time spent at this place.

Discovered yhis little gem onmour last night. Tried the €19 menu. It was fabulous. The vegetable soup was more like a stew, the axoa of pork had the most delicious seasoning I have ever tasted this was followed with a creme brulee which was flavoured with red pepper?? It really delighted the palette.
The service was friendly and efficient. Could not fault any aspect of my visit. Will certainly go there on my next visit and will recommend it to friends and family

French typical restaurant "Brasserie".
Enjoyed a late breakfast of delicious paella. Impeccable service to top! New Orleans Cafe has a wide offering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There were four of us that ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch items. Everyone was happy with their order. Will definitely return on our next visit.

I was a bit apprehensive about eating here, since it looks like many restaurants in Lourdes, I need not have worried. It's not what you would call a typical French restaurant, but the lamb and pork we had were cooked to perfection. The chips that came with the mains were also excellent, they may have even been cooked in dripping.
The staff were pleasant and welcoming.
