My wife and I had the opportunity of experiencing their 1 hour Segway tour on 23 December 2017 from 5 pm - 6 pm. I must mention that their staff is very well trained and professional, and the Segways are well maintained. A special thanks to our guide Hayden who meticulously explained the do’s and don’ts of operating the Segway. I had personally never operated a Segway before, but thanks to Hayden and his patient explanation and demonstration, I was comfortable and riding the Segway like a pro within the first 10 mins. If you are in Tsitsikamma and have a couple of hours in hand on a nice sunny day, please jump on to one of their Segways and enjoy the ride. The pure joy of riding these Segways is too much fun to miss.
I wish they had the 2 hour Segway Tour as well (presently we were offered only the 1 hour tour) and I wish they had some more treacherous and adventurous routes. However, it doesn’t really matter as long as you are on a Segway, because it’s just too much fun.
Hope to ride with you again guys !
Cheers,
Prateik & Neha

The Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour is a unique eco-wilderness adventure that takes place in the magnificent Tsitsikamma indigenous rainforest. The first of its kind in Africa, the canopy tour involves traversing from one platform to another along a steel cable suspended up to 30 meters above the forest floor
Good tour, good zips and unfortunately unlike the other company operated sites they charge you for the footage. BTW if you are an international visitor and want to go to the adjacent Tsitsikamma reserve be prepared to pay 4X the price of the South African residents.

Had a great time with Clinton and Norman. Fairly educational as well and many photo opportunities. Would definitely recommend it. Not a big fan of the lilos but I did it anyway. No regrets.

I really recommend this trail for hikers. The trail is well guided and organised. The food and accommodation is outstanding. We had a show of Dolphins and Whales throughout the hike which really made the Trail name deserving.

Like any great quad bike route, it has its fair share of muddy sections! You could enjoy this route time and time again as this scenery you don't come across too often in your city life. It really gets you out of your comfort zone. We guarantee a true adventure that will never be forgotten.
We had a really great time with friends and family on the quad tours. Not only was the tour reasonably priced, but provided for a real adventure through the thicket of the forest. The guide was really great, and safety was always of utmost importance to him. They promised for us to come back dirty, and indeed we did. We only went on the 1 hour quad trip and will definitely be back to experience the 2 hour quad trip.

This picturesque suspension bridge is on one of the shorter hikes of this river gorge.
One for the bucket list! A half day adventure, that takes you on a 900m hike up and down a mountain side( it does have a few sheer drops) to get to the suspension Bridges. Beautiful scenery, with 360' view of the river mouth and sea.
Great hike for the entire family, but take care if you are elderly or unfit as the hike can be fairly strenuous.

We went as a group of 5 people and had booked prior. I would recommend that people ask the tide level before making the booking. We arrived and then got told that the tides were low so there would be a lot of walking in between rocks.. this got quite frustrating as we had to paddle with our hands mostly already, no rapid streams to give us that rush.
We got bar ones closer towards the end of the trip as a light snack.
Do not bring anything valuable as the water is black and if you drop something, consider it gone!

But well worth the cost to walk amidst lovely coastal scenery, reasonable toilets and ice cream. Lovely self-catering lodges and completely over run with dasie. Kayaking and swimming on site. Don’t be put off by the cost. The suspension Bridges are fun and not too tricky but the steps to get to and from them are real Bs.

Journey with us down the old Storms River Pass, and experience the indigenous forest from the comfort of a specially-designed vehicle. Follow the elephant trail, passing yellowwoods and stinkwoods, while hearing about the history of the area and the indigenous flora and fauna. Enjoy a delicious light snack at a beautiful picnic site next to the Storms River.
The leaflet promised a lot with an engaging trip into the forest with tea at the end. We were hoping for lots of things to keep our toddler engaged and learn a bit about Tsitsikamma. The reality was a 2.5km drive into the forest, 3 stops at 3 trees, and tea at a picnic area. Certainly disappointing and very bad value for money.
Staff were friendly and welcoming/.
