Organized a team event for work at Mission: escape. Must say, by far the best escape room I have visited so far. Very professional and punctual organization by Massimo and Sabrina. Also the rooms were very cleverly built. Biggest difference from any other escape room...MoreThank you very much Michiel. it was a pleasure to meet you. greetings Massimo & Sabrina

Airports are airports, obviously. However, this one has several observation decks to rest peacefully and to enjoy the planes' view. There are also many duty free shops - with some interesting discounts- and some bars to have a drink. The travellers seats have plug-in connectors to charge the mobil or digital gadgets.

You can walk up or take the Little ride from Zürich main Station. The last bit to the top do you have to walk, but you'll be rewarded with amazing views over the City, the lake and the surrounding area. From here you can walk further over the hillridge

I had a free day on a trip to Zurich for work, so thought that the view from Uetilberg was worth a look. Several sites advised that November is a great time to visit due to the fog, but that depends on how high the fog is. After leaving my hotel early in the morning, a quick 20 minute train ride and a 10 minute walk, I was greeted with a view of pretty much nothing :(
The fog was at the same height as the mountain so all I could see was a wall of grey. I had a cup of tea and waited an hour but there was no improvement.
4 hours later I was back in Zurich and still couldn't see the summit of Uetliberg, so check the weather before you go. From the website the view is well worth a trip!

Vinebration offers wine tastings, food&wine matching, wine dinners and thematic programs linked to wines like wine & canvas or introduction to wine tasting.
A friend and I went on a 3-day gastro and wine tour of Budapest organised and led by Jusztina from Vinebration. Simply spectacular! J picked out 3 of Budapest's top-notch restaurants - each with a different but excellent and local cuisine (the stylish carpe diem,...MoreI'm happy that I could give you such an experience and you took sweet memories home. Hope to see you again soon.

We took a ferry ride on the lake. Cost only 5 CHF per person surcharge on top of our day travel card. Such good value and highly recommend and a Cheap day cruise option - The ferry that we took was a 1.5 hour loop of Lake Zurich. Warm interior cabin (was close to zero degrees outside) and hot drinks and light meals available for purchase.

This fantastic art museum displays Western works since the 1600s and has an especially impressive selection of modern art.
Definitely worth a visit for art lovers, particularly of 19th & 20th century art. Spaces and art are beautifully presented in buildings that flow nicely together and within easy walking distance of Limmat in old city. You can easily spend several hours there, including special exhibits.

Zürich's historic section features cobblestone streets, a variety of small stores and restaurants and many of the city's most significant religious landmarks.
The old town is just across the river from the main train station in Zurich. It is convenient to find a hotel and catch a train in the morning. There are many restaurants from different cuisines and night clubs. I noticed many adult night clubs for this area. One can walk along the middle streets, people watch and just stroll to spend the time. The area seemed fine and safe. Did not see much of a police presence though. The hotels prices seemed reasonable for Zurich. Beware though, the prices are pretty high in Zurich compared to many places in Europe. Just the way it is. But, it seems tipping is not expected, which makes the prices a bit less pricier.

Lindenhofplatz is a nice quiet park, overlooking the city; where Rietberg Museum is located.
The Lindenhof is a hill in downtown Zurich. In fact, the place was a Celtic fort, later turned into a Roman military camp (Turicum), from which sprang the city of Zurich. Enjoy the view over the Limmat River and onto the Univiersity and ETH buildings.
