This river bridge is rail-cum-road bridge - It is Asia's third longest road-cum-rail bridge crossing a water body after the longest one in Patna and second one in Osaka. The bridge is 4.1 kilometers long - 2.8 kms rail bridge and 4.1 kms for the road bridge. Boating is available here by the ghat from government operators. We decided to go for boating in the morning. At night, the bridge is lighted with colorful lights, a nice view to see.
Godavari river boating - there are 2 types. One is speed boat - Rs.354/- and other Rs.40 per person for a bigger boat. The speed boat ride is for 8-10 minutes and the bigger one for 15 minutes. We opted for speed boat - 4 people can go for Rs.354. We got beautiful view of the Truss and Arch Bridges across Godavari. Definitely, boating is a must-to-do in Rajahmundry.

This is 20 feet away from Godavari Bund. You can see River Godavari with a great landscape view, with two Bridges. Especially this part of Godavari is widest in India, with more than 3.5 KMs width especially this part of Godavari. You never complete trip visiting andhra, unless you visit Rajahmundry once.

Attraction of this temple is it's location which is in island of Godavari river near Pattiseema village. To reach to this temple, we need to take boat road to cross river Godavari and also walk for few hundred meters in the sand. Boat guy charges very reasonable Rs.20 per head, that includes return trip. Temple is very old and looks nice, but it seems not cleaned regularly. There is Rs.5 ticket for darshan for the temple. A small snacks shop is available inside the temple premises.

I started from Bangalore with my wife and 2 year old kid on 29-12-2016 to Rajahmundry via train and reached early morning (Its 17 hour journey). I had called sai krishna travel person a day before and had booked everything online including fresh up before we board boat. Fresh up arrangement was intimated by tour operator via sms and everything went glitch free. By 7.30AM we were ready at the travel office which is walk-able distance from freshup hotel. A bus was arranged to go to a place which is 40KM away from Rajahmundry and then boarding the boat from there. The boat travel started at 10AM and it was a wonderful experience. There was a breakfast arrangement in boat which is not great but good enough. The boat crew were good enough to give an extra plate of Idli to my 2 year old kid though I haven't bought any ticket to her. Over all journey is 3.5 hours into the water, visiting a couple of nearby temples on the way and coming back for 3.5 hours again. The boat crew were very funny and entertaining though they can reduce the volume of their speakers considering some of the calm nature lovers in the boat. If you can understand telugu, then you would love to know a lot of information about various villages along the way which will be explained by boat crew. The nature is fantastic on both sides of the Godavari river and Photographers can carry their superior cameras for extraordinary nature. calm breeze in the evening while coming back from the papi hills along with speeding boat and sun at the west would take you to a different world altogether. Full marks to Sai krishna Godavari Boat travels for the nice arrangement. Finally we returned to godavari bund at 6.30PM and bus journey back to Rajahmundry by 7.30PM. 650rs per head all inclusive is a competitive price compared to kerala boats and other places for the experience it offers. Finally not to forget, the nice veg food in boat in the afternoon while on boat ride will make you visit this place again.

This religious place is on Rajahmundry - Bhadrachalam (Andhra Pradesh to telangana state) iter state highway of India. At Krishnuni palem,a near by village 3KM from Gokavaram,It is famous for its Load Venkateswara Temple on appox. 300 feet mountain. It was built in 1950's.The temple resembles Tirumala as govindarajullu & Mangadevi temple below the Hil in the vilage with walkable distance. One can go with their car directly to temple through zig zag 0.75 km ghat road or can climb the 160 steps very comfortably. You can also observe the local culture near o tribal area with increasing civilisation as people are very happy with what they have. They enjoy every movement of their life far away from the mechanical life. Every morning in between 4.30 - 6.00 AM , temple opens and with noon 2 to 3 hrs break it opens up to night. One can have food servings of holy feast (Prasadam) which is the residual of god worship offering. This god's place is very famous for two things i.e succession at exams with distinction and children for infertile couples, if they visit and preach lord with some frequency of dates till their wish fulfilment. Highly eye mesmerising greenery since the surroundings happened to be dense Forests. Meals and snacks restaurants are available at Gokavaram but no proper lodging arrangements. One can travel from Rajahmundry or Kakinada very easily and connected with plenty of busses since the city Gokavaram is on AP/Telangana interstate highway

An anmcient temple administered by the HRCE of Govt of Andhrapradesh. This is a place where Saneeswara conducted penance and did puja to Lord Shiva. Abhishekam of Sivalinga with Gingily (Sesame) oil is said to remove all malefic influences of Sani Bhagwan. People throng here for every Sani Trayodasi day (thirteenth day after new moon or full moon falling on Saturday) and it is a mela atmosphere.
People passing through Sani Dasa or 7.5 years of sani (when Saturn passes through one's rasi - sadhe sathi)
Just adjoining is another temple dedicated to Srichakram in Yenugulamahal. This was a stone brought all the way from Manasasarovar by a local sanyasi and established here in the form Srichakram. It is almost 4 feet high and very powerful. Sit in front of it and meditate and enjoy the bliss
The place is about 30 kms from Rajamundry and 18 kms from Ainavilli. Can be reached by local autos or by road Amalapuram/ Ravulapalem and Ainavilli
