Located in the beautiful place called Salento, among sandy paths and untouched nature, Togo Bay is an oasis of emotions between the dunes and the sea to enjoy the sun and the beach in perfect relaxation.
We went to Togo beach for just one day on our trip and I really enjoyed it- the staff are very attentive, the beach is spotless, the sea is probably the best in this whole area (even better than torre lapillo) and all in all it's a great spot. Only downside is it's a bit pricy but I suppose you pay for what you get! A bottle of water was €4 whereas every other day we brought our own water to the beach - 6 bottles for €1.60 in the supermarket!
Every other day we went to orange sun, which was more easy going, but not half as luxurious, however it was €18 per day for 2 beds (30€ in Togo bay) and the staff were nice and restaurant were good value- so for everyday it was better and cheaper. But I would certainly recommend a visit or two to Togo bay for that little bit extra luxury - it was well worth it!

Really beautiful lido in perfect location, great vibe, food & drinks.
The only thing what could be pointed out is the loud music starting from 5pm onward (weekend only).... the beach/lido changes to party (dancing everywhere, on the sunbeds, beach, restaurant, bar, etc....) For young people its perfect place to be, but for people who are seeking relaxing atmosphere or for families with kids, I would opt for different place.

We annually trek from our primary residence near Seattle, Washington to our second home in Lecce where we're spending a month this year. My wife in particular is a sun and sea lover, so we nearly always include some hours on the Beaches of Torre Chianca, just a short drive from Lecce. Usually we like the beach facility at Aprodo, one of several private Beaches at Torre Chianca. The sea that kisses each of these private Beaches is usually warm in August with moderate surf, unless the wind is up. Because there is little heavy industry in Puglia the seas bordering its Salento Peninsula are some of the cleanest waters in all of Europe. You can perhaps encounter a little drifting sea weed once in a while and sometimes an errant little fish or two may nudge your leg, but otherwise the aquatic environment is pristine. The sands are white, generally well groomed and inviting. The area also offers some public Beaches, which may be a little less accessible, not have a lifeguard, and require you to bring your own umbrella and beach chairs. Some won't offer things like a nearby snack bar. You can rough it or spoil yourself. The sea stays the same and so does the sun. Try Torre Chianca. We like it a lot.

Fabulous white sandy spotless Beaches. Lovely seascapes. Very few non-Italian holiday makers though it's very popular with Italian tourists.especially from Napoli & Milano. Child-friendly Friendly helpful locals. Some of the best food I have ever tasted. Seafood caught locally daily. Local grown fruit & veg. Local cheeses breads olives etc. We were there for 11 days whilst a fiesta was going on. Great fun. Local markets selling everything necessary for an enjoyable trip. Transport (In the Summer months at least will take you cheaply to the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce & many more. What's not to like?

If you're looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the clear, warm water of the Ionian Sea, then Teranga Bay (Punta Prosciutto) is the place to go. Nice people, especially Lucian (who's in charge with the place and can give you best options to spend time nearby). We've been in september 2015, hope to go there this year too!

Beautiful beach of Ionian Salento, characterized by large expanses of sand (for lovers of relaxation) and crystal clear water with blue-green shades, which, together with the seabed, and the water shallow for several meters from the coast, recall tropical destinations

The beach is amazing, the sunbeds are very comfy and the staff is nice. I have to say that the umbrellas design are clever and also eco-friendly ( they look made of recyclable materials) I dropped a star because there was a lot of sea weed and little animals that bite you.
I highly recommend yo to bring your own big bottle of water and some snacks, so you won't spend a fortune.

well restored look out tower from the 15th century, worth paying entrance fee to explore. There are look out towers all along the Salento coast but this is the only one that's retained all its original structure. Great views and amazing fish restaurant nearby.
