Been here a few times and always good food and atmosphere. However tonight I went to use the toilet before our meal and the smell of putrid urine was so strong I had to breathe through my fleece. Only that I've been here before and know that's not the usual standard did we proceed to have a meal.
The meal was fantastic as always. Good friendly service and interactions from local and not so local staff. Nice mix
We'd definitely be back but hope that the toilets would be better maintained with a cleaning schedule clearly displayed.

Had dinner a couple of times when in the area and must say their steaks are very good . I asked for it to be cooked a specific way which was no problem for them .
It has a nice intimate feel about it so definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food, drink and service is what we strive to attain -whether you want a coffee, 4 course meal, romantic first date or just a relaxing drink or two - the Windsor Bar & Restaurant will cater for your needs.
This is a restaurant which is also part of a pub. It enjoys a very good reputation in Dundalk. The food is always well prepared and presented and the portions are generous. The menu is quite extensive and most people would easily find something to their liking. Service is good and so is value for money. No hesitation recommending this restaurant to anyone.

This is a hotel in Co Louth.
Had dinner in the bar here on Monday evening on our travels back from a break in Northern Ireland. We hadn’t been to this hotel for many years, and decided to give it a go. They have improved the grounds immensely and it looks so much better than it used to. There is also plenty of parking. We ordered Chicken and Bacon Carbonara, Cajun Salmon Darne, and some soft drinks. The bar wasn’t too busy, just ticking over nicely and our meals were served with a smile. Our server’s name was Yolanta and she was most pleasant. Food portions were quite generous and we polished off the lot in record time (we didn’t realise how hungry we were until we sat down – nothing like having a meal handed up to you). We finished off our soft drinks and were on our way. It was €40 for our meal, which you could say was a bit pricey for what we got, but if you don’t want to stop at the services on the motorway for the usual diet of fast food with chips (everything with chips) then this is a pleasant alternative where you can get a good hearty meal. Visited the Ladies on our way out and very pleased to report they were spotlessly clean.

I recently had my wedding here, I cannot praise the staff enough, kind, patient and flexible. They provided balloons flowers and crakers (xmas theme) for our tables they did everything we asked and more. The food was lovely and the price was very fair 25 a head for a wedding is a bargin. Thank you Lisdoo for making My wife and myself have the best day of our lives

Had the sea food platter to share followed by the ribs and wings on special. Great portion size and delicious. Few pinots abf beers to wash it all down. One of our fav spots.
