Playa De Pinamar

This beach just goes on and on and on. There are lots of restaurants and cafes available.
The sea was quite choppy when we were there but there were lots of lifeguards and police in the area including a police helicopter which patrolled up and down the beach.
The beach is well worth a visit, but it's worth noting the Pinamar is divided into a number of little towns. The Main Street (constitution) is full of young bars and restuarants with a vibrant nightlife and then as you travel south you go through a quieter area called Ostende which has a smaller shopping centre and is more family orientated, and then further south into the wealthy part, where large houses are surrounded by pine tress. This also has an interesting shopping, bars and cafe area.

Valeria del Mar Beach

Valeria is located between the popular Ostende/Pinamar and the VVIP beach of Cariló, If you have not been able to be invited by a VVIP portenio in his mansion in Cariló, you will be able to see them from your car and enjoy the fish served in the restaurants on the beach of Valeria. Nice and greener than Ostende, absolutedly quieter that Pinamar, it offers a good rest to the ones visiting the Argentinian Coast.

El mas alla

I enjoy northern Pinamar as it gets a bit quieter. For me, this ain't no great beach but it is nice in the same way Cape Cod is. Lots of pines on dunes and more of a hard-packed sand beach than fluffy Caribbean style. But since I am not a swimmer or sum bather, I don't care. I just like walking in the quiet Neighborhoods filled with attractive cottages and smelling the pine and eucalyptus filled air.

I suppose it has to be overcrowded in Summer but in April it is wonderful. We could walk and sunbathe without problems. There are too many dogs though.

Lugar hermoso con un bosque inigualable donde poco a poco se van instalando diversas construcciones que no se hasta cuando van a continuar.
Este paseo es muy lindo y muy adecuado para los que no conocen Carilo.
