This urban waterworld is a fast-growing city tucked into a bend of the Parana River about 186 miles northwest of Buenos Aires. Slip into a kayak or take a cruise for the best river views, or hit the city center, bustling with discos, theaters, pedestrian malls, restaurants and parks popular with cyclists. A national monument on the riverbank honors the city's historic role as the site where the Argentine flag was first flown.

The food is good, the service is friendly but the wine is more expensive than one would expect, specially being in Argentina and asking for local wines. It's location, by the hotel, makes it a good choice if you don´t want to wonder around the city.

The food and service is unbeatable! They have a full bar with a great selection of wine. We had a shrimp appetizer that was fantastic. Between the four of us we got two meats to share, the tomahawk and baby pig, both were outstanding and perfectly cooked to our request! The baked potatoes and grilled vegetables were perfect sides. The desert menus was also wonderful, plenty to choose from. We spent three hours eating, drinking, and conversations, absolutely perfect evening!

We had a great meal at La Marina. It is very much a neighborhood place. The maitre d' knew most of the people who came in. We had fish, dorado and melusa. Both were excellent, fresh and perfectly prepared. The prices are fantastic, excellent value for the money. Come early. We arrived at 8:00PM on a Friday when they opened, by 8:30 the place was full. Do not take a table that has a wine bottle on it. They are reserved.

Excellent option for a romantic stay in Rosario. Lovely restaurant, amazing architecture. Good service. The hotel is currently being refurbished so there are two types of rooms. The old ones keep the spirit of the old city, with a history of about a hundred years. High ceilings, squeaky wooden floors, and neatly decorated (very contemporary). Only con about it is probably a bit noisy but nothing that will make your stay less enjoyable. Other rooms are the ones built a new o recently updated. Either way Savoy is a choice you will not regret. The restaurant is particularly good and an attraction for both clients of the hotel and locals.

Escauriza is a locally owned restaurant close to the Rosario-Victoria bridge that specializes in fresh river fish. The fish and seafood empanadas were good. The surubi sticks were oily and greasy. The grilled pacu was quite good. Unfortunately, service was spotty and we had to repeat our order several times until they got it right. Worth one visit and that's it.

Los Jardines is located on one of the most beautiful spots of the city, by the river. Service is really good. Food is simple, but attractively presented and well prepared. My recommendation is roasted vegetables saladDear Guest: we appreciate your excellent review of our restaurant and we hope you will come in another visit to our town. Best regards Pablo Sapene

Fundado en 1931, frente al puerto de la ciudad de Rosario. Guarda en sus paredes el encanto, la magia y las historias de tantas personalidades que lo han visitado.
I think this place is OK. Good service, like most nice restaurants in Rosario, but better food at most other place I've eaten at in Rosario. I had the Motambrito (spelling?), the thin pork steak, which I love, especially at Don Ferro.......but it was just OK here. I also had garlic fries which were good, but overall I think the place is OK.

Best miga's in town. Best quality, best flavor, not the least expensive. Try the roast beef, acitunas y huevos.

A brewpub with flavorful aggressive ales, a California style pub menu with some Argentine classics and a few international dishes. Pub environment with mostly classic rock, rock, blues, ska, and reggae. We are passionate about our beer!
After travelling through Peru and Bolivia where variety in beer is almost non-existent, it has been great to expand the palate again in Argentina. The Fenicia brewhouse is a slick establishment with a convivial atmosphere and, thankfully, a wide array of brews to choose from. Their American pale ale is pretty good and the amber ale even better, while we quite enjoyed the lomo quesadillas and a filling California chicken Sandwich (both reasonably priced at around 70 pesos). There was a bit of space for the few hours after opening on this particular Saturday night, so bring a group of friends and settle in for a quality session.
