In days of decaying beach resorts in Argentina, finding a good restaurant like Tante makes a difference. Like in La Gamba, which I believe it's from the same owner, food and service are above standard. Save for the lack of heat of our bourguignon everything was very good! Food is tasty, a decent wine list and warm service. Keep it up guys!

Good place to eat Italian food, the prices are right and the attention is excellent. This is one of Pinamar's "classic" restaurants. The place fills up quickly, be sure to be there a little before 8:30 PM opening time to get a table.

The service was too Brusque for my liking. My friends and I went out of our way to find this small restaurant hoping to enjoy some delicious "comida casera" in a warm family environment. The food wasn't bad, and the decor was nice, but the loud waiters and lack of family feel gives this restaurant a - "don't bother"

Just been there a couple of minutes ago. Really disappointing. The restaurant at our Hotel was closed, so started to look at reviews of different restaurants in the area. We found this one to be ranked #1 of restaurants in Pinamar (trip advisor). I really can´t believe how it got that ranking. The food is by no way home made style...it´s more a cheap restaurant offering. Prices were in sync, it´s not an expensive place. We had Milanesa Napolitana, bad..deep fried with old oil. The asado, to tough. Fries, even worst. Pure, acceptable. Service, zero attention. Matched by the place and it´s food.
Maybe a traditional place, but definitely not for tourists. It does not go by the hand with Pinamar, one of the top argentine Beaches.

The best dishes with seafood. Home-made pastas. Grill and variety of salads. Private events ask for a quote. Marriages, birthdays and farewells. OUR NEW ADDRESS: BUNGE 198 ESQUINA SIRENA. ONE BLOCK FROM THE SEA!!!
Good food, specially seafood (rabas> fresh & great).
At summer, is always full of people, but is open yaer round and great to have lunch at spring or fall. Ask for a table beside the windows (against the seaside), very nice views to the beach and sea. If time is nice and temperature high, you can also sit outside. Could be a bit expensive during summertime

While real Italian restaurants tend to be so mostly in name only, this place is one that comes the closest to satisfying the urge. The menu is varied and dishes are cooked with care and well presented, while the wine list offers great wines to accompany whatever you choose. Desserts are a great finish. Service is excellent and the owners take pride in what they do. Prices are very reasonable for the fare and attention. And you will want to return.

Our last afternoon in Pinamar we had lunch at La Gamba as we wanted some seafood. Our waitress was pleasant, but that's about all I can say positive about the restaurant. The food was disgusting, the calamari fried with old oil at an incorrect temperature, the salad was filled with stems of plants and not washed well, and worst of all it was so expensive that it looked expensive compared to a nice dinner in New York or other mayor cities! It was one of those experiences you feel angry at yourself afterwards that you actually paid for.
Bottom line, don't eat here. If I were to go back to Pinamar I'd ask around for a more basic locals only seafood restaurant that would have better food, more character and a more reasonable price.

Two stars is an average of the four-star nacho supreme we ate and a one-star rating for the service we received.
We ordered one beer, one water, a nacho supreme and a gringa pastor (pizza). The waitress only brought the beer; we had to ask for the water a second time. She then brought out only the nachos, which we started to eat. After almost finishing the nachos, we started to wonder if she had forgotten to put in the order for our pizza. We decided not to ask about the pizza since we were already filling up on the nachos. Once we were done eating the nachos and about to ask for the check, the waitress came over and asked if we were ready for our next dish. We were confused since we had originally ordered two dishes and had thought that she just forgot about the pizza. Usually dishes are brought out at the same time and you're not asked if you're ready for the second one. We told her to forget the pizza and to just bring us the check. it was an interesting situation.

Good breakfast, for breakfast or a snack with coffee. A bit overpriced. Focaccia looks much better in the pic. Service really slow when We went (out of season). Seems the waiters also prepare the food.
