nice place to visit, there is a special walking trail to the bell. While visiting the Friedensglocke don't forget to take a look in the little church nearby.

A great day out for walkers and skiers alike. Take funicular to the mid station and enjoy stunning views across the valley. The hutte sells a nice variety of meals. Highly recommended!

As we came out of Innsbruck airport, our driver from Gangl Transfers were waiting. He was very friendly, and helpful all through our journey. The minivan was in excellent condition and very clean and comfortable and we had plenty of room for 4 of us...MoreWe really work hard on keeping our customers satisfied and providing a good service. Obviously we succeed. Thanks a lot for this review.

My wife and I scheduled a side-trip here while touring the Alpenstrasse last week. It was well worth the visit! Pay Euro 5 for the car park and free access for several routes around the falls. Follow the red one for the easiest access and see some stunning views!

Seekirchl in the austrian alps is a very perfect picturesque setting. A landmark in this Olympic region of Tirol, at the western entrance to Seefeld, and visible from far away.
The Seekirchl church is the town’s most famous landmark. Construction on the octagonal Baroque structure began in 1628 and the church was consecrated in 1666.
The spiritual centrepiece is the cross on the main altar to which the construction of the church is attributable. There are reports of two events from the period when the cross still stood out in the open, the first of which claims that a pilgrim, in a state of deep repentance, was absolved from her sins through clear words spoken by the cross in front of which she had prayed.
The second event that led to the construction of the church was the occasion when Archduke Leopold V who, when passing the miraculous cross for the first time, was so moved by the sight of it, that he requested a priest be brought so he could confess his sins and he immediately pledged to erect a chapel in which to house the cross. He fulfilled this pledge by building the first Seekirchl chapel. The two events are depicted on the wall frescoes on the right and left hand sides.

a beautiful bath - the swim-hall indoor/outdoor is nice - still just during low season. if you visit during peak season / weekends you will face crowded pools - loads of children and fully booked deck-chairs. that's what one can count with.
but a real hazzle is the fully crowded sauna-area. the saunas and steam bath are far too small for the amount of people, the number of deck chairs same much to small. we couldnt even find a place to sit. also the beautiful in/outdoor pool is closed due to reconstruction (in peak season!?!)
so NOT WORTH AT ALL !
i recommend the Seefeld Bath.

We walked here from Mittenwald. the signs indicated that it would take about 90 minutes but we did it in an hour.
The walk is beautiful and there and many paths that you can take through lovely scenery. When you reach the lake it opens out in front of you and is quite stunning. The lake is used for swimming and has facilities on the edge. It is a great place to sunbathe or just spend a couple of hours chilling. There is a snack house and for something more substantial at the fare end of the lake is Fechensee Hotel and restaurant with great food.
After refreshments you can take one of several well marked paths back to you home destination.

Wonderful church in the centre of town. Fantastic entrance doors, lovely interior with a tale about a hole near the alter some greedy bloke sank into etc etc! Go sit and contemplate for 10 minutes. Make sure you give some euros on the way out and get a lovely candle holder to remember your trip and help the church at the same time.

After the renovation , this is a very beautiful swimming area. What I like most, is that you can go there and do sports. This is a pool for for those who love to swim (Swimming as a sport).
