Not far from Seefeld lies Moesern, a small little town. Great to stay overnight while on a short langlauf trip.We ate here on a snowy Saturday evening. Highly recommend it! The restaurant has style and has a typical Austrian feel. Menu has a good variety of dishes; fish (forelle is great), meat (including a nice schnitzel) and vegi. The quality is excellent. Worth a visit.

The Ropferstubm serves excellent Austrian / Tyrolean food at a reasonable cost. In additional, there is a small (free) museum above the restaurant that is worth seeing.
The restaurant is situated on the red B5 cross country ski track and on the green 27 hiking route.
There is outdoor Seating and, during the summer, a children’s adventure play area.

"Lecker" translated from German means yummy. My daughter-in-law kept repeating "lecker, lecker, lecker as we dug into a cheese & meat board après ski. The black gold mustard, the truffle cheese and the chèvre coated with cranberries were my particular favorites. My carnivorous family members devoured the meats. The waiter selected a very suitable local wine after plying me with questions about my wine preferences. Although weather outside was spectacular & the outside tables are in the sun past 2:00pm we were just as happy eating indoors in the warm, inviting decor.

As Kracherlemoos is not around the main square I am so glad my husband looked at trip advisor for a nice restaurant at Seefeld. It is a true 'hidden gem'. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and as it is totally rebuild from 2 old houses it has a real atmosphere. The food is excellent, Austrian with an international twist. We had goulash soup and salmon salad as a starter, fillet of beef from a real wood fire and the cheese platter as desert, it all tasted absolutely great! And what makes it a real hidden gem is the service. The owner, the waiter and the cook seem to like what they are doing: making customers happy! We will definitely be back :-).

We were enticed again by our experience last year, and foodwise it was similar, but unfortunately the waiter turned out to be arrogant about wines.
I ordered a Welschriesling, and when it was brought to our table, I noticed it was slightly oxidised. The waiter then told me it was "always tasting like this", and if I wanted to taste quality, I needed to order a quality wine, not a table wine (at about €15 a bottle, do not consider it a cheap table wine)
I am no Master of Wine, but I have tasted the good and the bad. This was bad, and both of us were not impressed with this kind of approach, so we will not be back.

We have visited Seefeld many times over the years and always go several times to Waldgasthaus Triendlsage for evening meals. The setting is magnificent, hospitality and service second to none, and food amazing.Thank you for a highlight of our holiday breaks - we will certainly return.

The owner of the establishment was our host, waiter and bartender. What a nice guy! It seemed that many of the patrons were locals.
We had the schnitzel and gulash. Really fantastic! Green salads for starters were large and delicious. No room for dessert. There was also a cute little beergarden out front.

Welcome to Gasthof-Restaurant Dorfkrug! „Out and out Tyrolean hospitality“, we have dedicated ourselves to this philosophy since the year one. You should feel as snug as a bug in a rug at us. Therefore we have arranged our hotel – restaurant especially comfortable. You will anticipate a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in a typical Tyrolean style. Enjoy the homelike ambience with tenderly laid tables. And along with it, the honest hospitality, which comes from the bottom of our heart. Look forward to some wonderful hours with us.
Situated a little outside the main town you can either walk of take a taxi. A large restaurant, always busy, serving typical tyrolean choices with Bratwurst and suchlike in abundance. We were there for lunch so only tasted bar food but the interior restaurant looked equally appetizing. Good, fun atmosphere - this place really buzzes.

The best thing about this place - for those who are allergic or intolerant - was that on the menu, it says that they can make some of their dishes gluten-free! Which I was very excited about. I tried ordering a Wienerschnitzel, but that was a bit out of their scope - they did not have gluten-free breading, what I ended up ordering was a bunless burger, which was quite tasty. I didn't focus on anything else cause I wanted to eat organic meat, and those two happened to be organic.
My husband and I were there on Friday night, October 3rd, which was a holiday in Germany (but not Austria) and the place was packed with German tourists. And they, like other places in Austria on that day, were understaffed. There was one main waiter, a bus boy, and a lady who did a bit of both but seemed like the boss. And loads and loads of customers. So it took a while for someone to give us the menu, then took a while before someone took the order. But once we ordered, the food came in good time.
The burger was tasty - if not a teensy bit dry. The fries were fresh - crispy and really hot (am guessing fried 2x?) - and delicious. Though the experience was a bit hectic, cause the staff was hectic, I was just happy that a) we got a table somewhere on a busy Friday night, b) they served food after 8 pm, which is sometimes a problem in small Austrian towns, and c) that they understood what gluten meant. All in all I would say it was a pretty good experience.

There are three areas in our restaurant. The interior of the restaurant, the winter garden and the Terrace. For an aperitif before dinner or a digestif after our bar is the perfect place for it. Sit down, relax and enjoy with your eyes, your palate and your senses. In addition to numerous traditional and seasonal creations from the kitchen a great selection of finest wines from Austria and all over the world are waiting to delight your palate.
We had two portions of their spare ribs with a single side each and they were superb. Be prepared though the portions are large. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is typically tirolean. The building itself looks typically Austrian and we will return...MoreNext time spare ribs as appetiser for sure. Best regards Guido
