Skiiers have flocked to Mont Tremblant since its first chairlift and lodge opened in 1939. Now, though, it's just as popular with snowboarders, who love its 18 acres of ramps, rails and jumps, and its Olympic-caliber superpipe. Don't fret, though, because despite its name, this mountain doesn't actually tremble... unless you've tossed back a few too many in one of the village's bars!

Went to Mont Tremblant yesterday and had a wonderful time. The snow conditions were excellent- mostly groomed hard packed snow with - and the lift lines were more than acceptable for a weekday (under 10 minutes).
If your party is small and the lines are long consider going into the singles line and you’ll ski faster. There are runs for all tastes and please take a lesson or two of you are just starting out.
I always park on the North side (there are most of the services you need there including rentals) just remember where you parked when it gets to the last run of the day. The rental guy helped us get back on the slopes - thanx!!
A day trip from Montréal is doable and there are many choices for accommodations on the hill or nearby.
Costco sells discounted tickets which allow you to head right to the lifts when you arrive.
Enjoy!!

Alaskan Adventure Tremblant invites you to come and live an unforgettable, authentic dog sledding experience! Alone, in a group or with your family, the dogsledding initiation is for you! Our 2h30 activity includes: introduction to our dogs, participating in the harnessing of our teams and a course on how to drive your OWN sled. At our half way point, a stop awaits you with traditional home-made treats from Quebec. Come and Mush with us!
This time I am happy to be wrong.
Despite the many positive reviews, in the back of my mind I felt this would be another typical tourist oriented "dumb down" version of the true thing. Nothing like that.
We booked the Forest trail and it was a blast. Shuttle ride was about 30 mins but Matt the driver was very nice and knowledgable and made the drive feel much shorter.
The dogs are beautiful and from the moment we were asked by the staff to handle them you know this will be nothing like I had expected.
It might be a little exhausting at times, since you get to guide the sled guided by the dogs, but the scenery was something out of Narnia. Coming from warm South Florida this was quite a treat to our eyes and senses.
No one in our group of ten, including demanding teenagers, came out disappointed.

Me and my friends have been coming to Pause Plein Air for years. Owner is Mark and he's very friendly.
They offer Kayak & Canoe trips down the Rouge river. This is AWESUM. There are plenty of Beaches to stop along and enjoy. Water is SUPER clean, you can see the bottom clearly all the time. The river is all sand.
Major advantages over its competitor Kayak Cafe (which I tried) is that you end your trip on the beach next to Pause Plein Air. You don't have any arrival time unlike Kayak Cafe where you need to show up for the shuttle at a specific time.
Reason is that Pause Plein Air gives you a shuttle ride upriver to the start destinations and you end at their facility. Kayak Cafe is the opposite, you start at their facility and end with a shuttle ride at a specific time.

As a family with older kids, we skied on New Years day (& 2nd) after a long stretch of warm rainy weather over Christmas time. There was a limited number of runs open, with most black (and others) on the main hill and all of the north hill runs ('Blanc Nord') closed. Many of the steeper runs still open would be scraped down to hard-packed surface early in the day, but with a bit more snow plus what they made overnight, the second day was a little better. The lift prices (bought in advance online) was the main reason we chose this hill over Tremblant. Would like to try it again when there has been more snow and more runs open since we pretty well exhausted our skiing on what was open for our two days there. Lodges for lunch were busy but nice.

We visited this park since we were staying nearby. Many people come here for the rock climbing and in the winter for ice climbing. You park on the road and walk up to the fee station. The station was closed but we deposited our entrance fee. There are a few campsites. We did not go rock climbing since we came to walk on the nature trail to see the vegetation in this area. The trail we took was nice and easy for a bit, but then it started climbing. It is somewhat challenging although not impossible to do if you are careful. In the end we turned around because we were not sure if the loop trail would get even more challenging. The vegetation is nice and very moist. There were very few people during week day and no one on the trail but us.
I would visit again, but would turn around before the trail starts getting too challenging.

Awesome activity for a family looking for a little fun. Staff very welcoming, friendly and safe. Was there with our 10 and 12 yrs old boys. Highlight of their trip. They adjust the karts to age and skill so it's safe for kids and beginners. With how much everything costs to do in Mont-Tremblant, it's a very good value for your money.

Had a wonderfully fun time playing paintball with my 16 and 20-year-old kids. The equipment given by the site is well-maintained and effective - both in shooting others and in protecting you. The two play-sites on which we played were sufficiently large and with a diverse selection of hiding places to make it a truly challenging and fun competition. The person monitoring us was strict with safety while being personable. It was a blast.

The Domaine St. Bernard is wonderful year-round, but because the heading is Ski de Fond Mont-Tremblant, I'll concentrate on winter. Whether you're an experienced cross-country skier or not, Domaine St. Bernard is worth a try. It is beautiful and quiet and as others have mentioned, it has a nice cafe on site. I am not much of a cross-country skier, so I scheduled a lesson and it was incredibly helpful and well-priced. And the area itself is just gorgeous.
In the summer, it's a quick bike ride from the resort and it offers unpaved bike trails from beginner to expert level. Or just walking trails. And a lake.
